bad message

Two days ago I received a nasty abusive message.I reported it thinking something would be done about it.as that person has still been on site each day since it seems I was wrong.so I'm wondering is there really any point in reporting incidents like this

The mods will judge how the person should be punished . While you may feel it was terrible , they may not agree ?
