When I see " I will block you" in a profile

Stops me from messaging

Egg shell treading

Any else think the same

Brighton - even Hove!

I very rarely bother messaging full stop. I'm starting to just be here for the forums.

Seems like the mantra of people we would not like to be around

I actually don't understand the blocking unless someone is particularly offensive or rude

Oh so many reasons it's a useful tool but I can't be arsed to threaten to do it, just don't it.

I only mention it as I find it helpful a timesaver for both sides, I don’t see it as the enemy or an insult.

Halifax

We dont have it on our profile, but do often block.People who are rude or pester, also we block people in our updates when they are ranty or constantly moaning just so we don't have to see them.

I absolutely see the need for a block facility

I've seen/recieved lots of things that warrant it

It's the

'I'll block you'

Before you've even spoken !!!

I don't really mind seeing reference to the block button. I can only imagine the noise and nuisance messages that must have been received over time to make the profile owner to resort to that.

I assume that they are trying to maximise their useful time on the site.

I don't think we mention the block button but the temptation to write a paragraph of ranty "don't" requests is sometimes very tempting.
