I'm a size 16 but not sure where I fit in

Well I'm a bloke so not supposed to know this type of thing...but having been in retailing...and spent time serving women most of my life...16 is curvy. I think a bbw is more an 18/20 upwards...but it is all subjective of course...x

In my mind curvy is whatever size as long as you still go in an out in all the right places.

BBW is when you're curves lose their definition.

Hmm the 'curvy' debate...

Quite honestly I'm sick of blokes messaging telling me I'm not curvy.. thinking it's a compliment. They clearly don't think curvy is a good trait like I do.

Without a doubt. I once was told it's to do with how toned you are. Size 14 but flabby and you're a Bbw but 14 and toned and you're curvy.

I just think you shouldn't worry about it. If you feel fab then so what where you fit in.

looking at you pics your far from bbw, due to your hight you have more dress sizes to go to be classed as bbw.... this is just my opinion

So disheartening when you see size 10 and size 12 women been called curvy, I consider myself curvy and bbw and have had arguments with friends calling themselves curvy ffs not a pick of fat on one and she constantly tagged her pics with curvy, no wonder us women struggle with our bodies when the media do nothing but body shame

Let's let the lady decide what she wishes to class herself as or if she even would like to label herself prehaps. It's not really for anyone else to say.

For me personally I don't really use either. I just say I'm big/wobbly/fat/not slim or something.

It's subjective though

I get loads of guys mailing me saying they like curvy woman, one guy mailed me the other day saying he loved BBWs the bigger the better for him and I was perfect, lots of men see a size 14 as big

I'm a size 10 but I've said curvy because I have an hourglass figure with big tits-slim waist-big hips

Sounds curvy to me and describes me better than any of the other body types on the list

There is probably a fair size range were the lines are blurred. I think to a certain extent curvy v bbw is a matter of how body plus off the size, distribution and hight. Not just a matter of dress size.

No way are you a bbw, OP. I'd categorise your body as average size, but that might just be due to favorable camera angles. For the record I like bodies of all sizes

OP you don't need to fit in anywhere or give yourself a label.

Just so long as you are happy in your own skin that's all that matters.

I'm a larger lady and I know that not everyone will find me attractive, but I really don't care. I'm happier with my body shape and size now than at any point in the past.

Confidence is sexy no matter what size you are.

curvy is a shape, BBW is a size related label, you can be a curvy BBW or petite and curvy or average sized and curvy. they aren't necessarily mutually exclusive

i see curvy as slim with a femanine shape not fat

I think slim women carry curves better as their skin sits closer to their bones and flow over there body shape better

I dont see rolls of fat as curvy

And thats not ment as an insult to anybody as im not slim thats just how i define curvy

Curvy is nothing to do with size . It's about having curves - eg a noticeable difference in size between hips and waist . You could be 'bbw ' and curvy you could be slim and curvy

I think I'm both as I'm a size 18 yet if you look at my body I have a big boobs and hips and a smaller waist but I have a flabby belly .

I am a size 14. Flabby. The odd roll of fat where I haven't lost the weight yet. But I consider myself curvy. Considering myself a BBW would render the effort I have put in to get where I currently am from my previous size 20 pointless. Oddly, my ratio of boobs to waist to hips hasn't changed proportionally. There's just less of me all over.
