There is a good point here, whereby often too much stock is placed in the existence of a verification, where in reality there are very few actual virgins on here, and people could play at clubs, etc etc.

However, OP, you also can't expect everyone to take your word for it, when they only have what they can see on this site to work with.

I may have been a legend at my last employer, but have to re-prove myself at a new one....

A verification isn't to prove someone has lost their virginity! It shows they are who they claim to be in their profile and arrive at a planned meet etc.

Thanks, I was aware of the official purpose, but we know that it's used as effectively a performance review half the time!

My point was that some people, via the simplistic and immediate vehicle of forum posts, sometimes seem to imply that verifications = sexual history. I think it's one of OP's (many) other threads where he expresses some sexual intention and is told "but you have no verifications".

Sorry missed your point a bit.

We use veris to see if the other party has actually met other people and also depending on time on site were they play meets or 'only' social.

They are pretty easy to get for someone who is serious about meeting , so lots of people (most?) place a lot of importance on them.

I wouldn't go so far as them being a performance review, but we would always say if we had a geat time when giving a veri.
