A few people have said they've lost sensation, so i'd be careful trying to talk someone into it. I have my left one done and love it.

I had my nipple and a scaffold piercing done on my ear in the same sitting.

Opted to take the nipple first as it would hurt more, but boy was i wrong

A needle through cartilage needs a lot more forcr to get it through

Nearly any piercing is gonna sting and it'll be tender for a few weeks, but in the end its well worth it.

As a male, never got much stimulation from my nipples, but with the piercing its somwthing else! I'm gonna be getting the other one done too, both for the stimulation and the symmetry

Had one of mine pierced some years ago my then girlfriend had said she found it really sexy on a guy so decided to surprise her. Yes it hurt having it done but it eased to a dull pain for a few days, getting it caught in clothing or snagging it on something before it healed sent a huge jolt of pain through me. However after a while this eased and now I find it nicely sensitive and such a turn on to have it played with or nibbled or sucked. She loved it too. Personally I'd recommend it but it has to be your or their choice.

I would be one of those that lost sensation. Both of mine are pierced, but I never wear jewelry in them and haven't in several years. They look pretty but I'd rather have the sensitivity back.

The left didn't hurt much at all, the right side was a whole different story. Straight through a nerve I would assume. Felt it through my shoulder and neck. Frickin' awful.
