Out of those ladies who go..

Who go mainly to have a perve on muscley gents, or go for proper reasons but happily enjoy the eye candy that they find?

It's hard to catch women in the act because they hide it so well unlike us gentleman

Let me turn the question around.

Do you go to the gym to perv on people or to work out?

I go to work out and tone up. I get all sweaty and red faced and curly hair - perving on men is the last thing on my mind.

Mainly to work out but there's a lot of wonderful looking women of all ages in mine so, it's hard not to.

Not sure why you're turning the question onto me though?

Because your question seems to suggest that women are more likely to go to the gym just to check men out that actually seriously lift.

It's a common problem - women are often not taken seriously in the gym by blokes.

Personally I go to the gym with one purpose. I'm not there to flirt, perv or even talk if I can help it. Women generally don't want to be perved on in the gym in my experience and I imagine it puts a lot of women off going.

No? Not at all, I clearly stated that us men are guilty of it. I was just asking if ladies are the same or what their main purpose is. It was an open question and I made no accusations

I certainly cover myself up and wear baggy clothes because I find it really, really, really uncomfortable when guys look at me in the gym.

I haven't at all admitted that I obviously perve, I have respect. I appreciate when a woman looks good and can't help but look sometimes but I don't do all the cringe that goes with it. If I spent my time flirting or perving I wouldn't be anywhere near the sort of shape I'm in. But as a man I find it confidence boosting if I knowingly know that a woman appreciates what she sees

I go to work out and then reward myself with a chill in the spa. I hate being watched in the gym and pretty much avoid making eye contact. I mainly look like a wheezy, crazy-haired knackered woman whilst I'm there, so I'm probably safe from the oglers.

I don't go to the gym to look at men. I feel that would be very shallow. If there's someone attractive there, I might notice, but that would be the same anywhere. It's rude to stare, so I don't.

I do the same. I'm not there to give a man a semi, I'm there to try and get healthier and fitter. Also, I don't like tight gymwear generally. And if a man tries approaching me to flirt whilst I'm at the gym, he's guaranteed to get a polite not interested.

I don't get why women are so distraught by the way they look after the gym, the best thing is the women who work there ass off and the sweatiness in a strange way is part of the attraction. Guys like myself who genuinely go to train hard as a priority appreciate women who bust a gut as opposed to the women who leave like they've just come out of a salon

You asked what peoples' motivation was for attending the gym; I would say it is highly unlikely that the motivation for being on Fab is comparable. I certainly didn't join fab and post photos in order to maintain and improve my level of fitness. However, that is why I joined the gym. Real life and fab life, quite different for some people.

No, not hypocritical at all.

I'm not at the gym to have sex, I'm there to work out. I'm not here to work out, I'm here to have sex.

Just as I'd find it unprofessional if people hit on me at work, I find it pretty gross when people hit on me at the gym.

Gosh I'm not distraught about it. I think what we're trying to say is there's a separation of fablife and outside life. I didn't join a gym to look at fit men. I do that here. I don't dress for men in the gym. I do here (not stockings though lol). I bloody love leaving the gym a mess! I also love getting in a sweaty mess with a fit, sexy man in the bedroom. Make no mistake I utterly appreciate a fit body and the work that goes into it and have no hesitation inviting these guys to my bedroom, but outside of the naughty side of things I would feel rude, and disrespectful ogling young men in my gym.

Your opening question doesn't make it clear you only want to hear from ladies who admit they joined a gym to look at fit men. However, it's a forum intended for open discussion and that will happen regardless. Do you think your last sentence is acceptable?

To steer the thread in an agreeable direction, I'd say I go to the gym to work out and that's it!

I rarely if ever speak to anyone in the gym and to avoid people asking me pointless questions, I have my headphones on the minute I walk in, do my work out and leave. Sometimes I see attractive women in the gym and I glance and then back to my workout. I would hate it if someone stared at me in the gym as an object of lust, which women possibly get often and which spoils the experience for women.

I find that it is very easy to see women's point of view on things like that if you just put yourself in their shoes. Imagine if your whole existence is judged through the prism of the size of your arse, tits and body and eveywhere you go, you are continuously stared at and objectified. I know I would hate that very much. Once you get that, you can see where some of the above comments are coming from.

No it's not hypocrisy. just because a woman or man wants to flash the flesh on here and be perved on here it doesn't mean she/he wants that in daily life. Getting the most out of thof gym requires concentration which must be difficult when guys/girls are drooling on the squat rack.

You had a point for a while. But sadly it has diminished into childishness.

Some people like to keep their sex lives in certain areas and are entitled to do that.

However people are entitled to look at someone attractive and think they are attractive.

It is also the case that some people find the existence of men near them to be singularly unacceptable and threatening.

It does appear that some people are in the unfortunate position of not being able to walk down the road without being violated in one way or another. It is certain people only and their personality types often share similarities. That's their prerogative and we need to let all comers get by.

Unfortunately it can distill itself into childish comments as above or very subtle misandry/misogyny where the perpetrator feels utterly justified and will never realise what they are doing.

If you like seeing pretty people in the gym, go for it. But don't be unreasonably off putting as that is not why people go to the gym. But you are entitled to look and enjoy the sight. As are women's and I know for a fact that plenty do.

Alot of people talk big game about how serious they take the gym...amusingly enough the results never seem to reflect that.

You WILL be perved at in the gym. The laws of pheromones and testosterone's release during physical activity make that inevitable. I've fucked women I met in the gym..hell, Ive had sex in the gym numerous times. Never really stopped me from taking the gym seriously.

This idea that the gym is this ultra serious place strictly for people to work out has always struck me as a little amusing. It always seems to cover for the fact that people are often terrible at communicating with others without the help of alcohol or the protection of anonymity of the internet. I actually think its a great place to meet people of the opposite sex. In that scenario the "perving" is inevitable.

Everyone claims the gym is not the place to meet people until some hot guy/pretty lady gives them the time of day.

Quite a few hot guys have given me the time of day in the gym - it's not the place for me to meet people as I use it to stop myself being the size I was. So I don't feel aroused at the gym, just bloody aching and tired. And as for the results? Size 28 to a 16 is fucking good going so yeah, I'll keep taking it seriously whilst you fuck the other women there.

Most of the women in the gym we attend are too focused on what they are doing; sweating, grunting, straining, panting etc. to be bothered with checking out the guys, who are also sweating, grunting etc.

Everyone is wired into their music and focused on training. I guess that's what happens at 1000pm, it maybe different earlier on.

There are a few women who tend to hang around the vibro plate machines looking very flustered!

Often seen at the back of the aerobics class sweating a lot.

Randomly doing push ups in front of the abductor and adductor machine.

Jogging on the machine behind a hot chick.

Offering spots on the squat rack to the ladies.

Generally sniffing the benches where girls have been.

Finally showing off by using those very large but very light crossfit weights

I go for proper reasons but like to watch them pumping the iron...and mirrors everywhere make it much easier to do that!

I go to actually work out. I'm usually a sweaty mess and too focused on form and how heavy the weights are ha ha.

Although I have to admit, I love working out with Adam so I can perve on him. I just stand open mouthed and watch his sweat covered muscles glisten and pump.

I go to the gym to get fit and healthy, not to have a perve but as someone else said if there's someone who catches my eye I'll cast a quick once over the same as I might anywhere else.

I think the level of perving depends on the type of gym. I've belonged to a few, the first the guys were all far too intent on their work outs (and checking themselves out) to be looking at anyone else. Was a great gym! Another was a bit posey, a lot of people seemed to be there to see and be seen. Loads of staring, not comfortable. Current gym seems to largely be people with their heads down doing their own thing with the odd strutter.

Now it seems to be the PTs doing the perving. G and I were talking the other day and I had assumed they try and talk everyone into private sessions as virtually every visit one of the guys come over to chat and talk about booking them. Turns out he hasn't been approached once.

And gym wear, yes I wear tight lucrative top and bottom, I don't like clothing flapping about and my boobs need the extra support of a hidden support top. Usually I'm a sweaty red faced mess so doubt I'm an attractive sight.

I'm a bright red, sweaty, crazy flamed mess after my warm up on the cross trainer, so from there to the treadmill and the rower I barely see anyone or anything as I'm too busy feeling like I'm dying.... by the time I get onto the weights I feel fabulous though, and I will happily have a natter with people although my head really isn't in a pervy place, if I'm watching someone it's because I'm interested in what they are doing rather than their bodies.

I will say though I then go on to have a swim, and at that point I am quite happy to perve, which will last all of about 5 seconds in total split up throughout the half hour I'm swimming for - at the end of the day if I find someone attractive I'm not going to refuse to look at all. But neither am I overly impressed by physicality as I'm generally more interested in someones mind, but I'll never complain if the wrapping is above average.

I'll also say I'm not a body beautiful in a traditional sense, I'm a size 24, massive stomach, huge hanging breasts and scars all over me, but I am body confident none the less, where as I think many many women see too many of their flaws to appreciate their beauty, and the gym can highlight these flaws and diminish that confidence even more.

I feel the OP has taken a bit of a bashing here, and I don't think it's fair. I've had some very body beautiful female friends who have gone to the gym to pull. They would do a full head of makeup, style their hair and make sure they never broke a sweat, hell one was even able to go for a swim and still look like she was about to go on a date! There were about 5 of them that would do the same, to be honest I think they were embarrassed by me and my determination to turn my face the same shade as my hair... That said though, they were lovely girls, all scientists who were bright and articulate, they just knew what they wanted and good on them, because each and every one of them got it. So OP, yes there are loads of women who go to perve on men, and there are loads who don't wish to be seen as sexual creature at those times, and there are some of us who genuinely don't care one way or the other. I bet there's a million and one other varieties too!

I don't think I've ever been perved on in the gym, or in fact anywhere else except a club.

I must be either completely unaware of it, the guys must be very discreet or I must be a total minger. Or of course, it may just not happen.

So where else have I learned about how specific types of hypertrophy training affect my physique, how tracking my macronutrients can determine my strength and energy levels on any given day, how to lift with correct form for maximum benefits and minimum risk of injury. You also learn a lot about yourself, are you someone who pushes yourself to your limits to achieve a goal or do you quit when it gets hard or when progress stalls.

I understand the point you're trying to make but not everyone who works out is a stereotypical meat head.

I've learned a great deal from my time in the gym and continue to learn each time I go.

I often look , but I'm not perving I'm watching someone's form, or technique, or wondering what the hell they are doing and if it's something I could do lol. Sometimes I am judging people who put the weights back on the rack in the wrong order.

I've been known to pop out a few squats and bent over rows in the eye view of fit guys on the odd occasion . I am primarily there to workout and once I've finished my cardio I look God awful, but whilst I'm moving around between exercises fit people do catch my eye the same way they would if I was out and about. Just as long as you aren't staring or following people around the gym I don't see the harm. I wouldn't ever make anyone feel uncomfortable.

Women used to gawp at me all the time. Even the men would forget themselves and stare. Made me feel well self conscious. I haven't been for a few months now though and I started smoking and drinking and eating junk. Next week I'm going to start my new years resolution and cut all that out. So watch out ladies!

Train hard everyday. You don't need to go the gym.

Run. Calinetics and eat propley.

That's it.

Saying that you all look fabulous..And when I train at home I do have fitness women on my YouTube channel. Something about them love bums in them leggings that makes a workout much easier..
