Ill never understand people

We messaged a couple local couples that were on our friends list a week or so ago saying Merry Christmas and that hopefully we could get together soon. Later seen that the message was read, deleted with no reply. I understand no one is under any obligation to reply but its especially poor taste when your on the friends list and they sent the invite. Oh well, were just thankful that we didn't have to waste our time.

That's a good idea. We usually use it as a people we can potentially meet with list because we don't have a lot of time to meet up with people.

I had the same problem but now I add people to my hotlist instead. That way they don't get to see my pictures but I can keep a record of whose who if that makes sense?

Maybe one half sent the invite but the other didn't know about it and read your message not knowing this and so just got rid of it.

it's christmas. i've got one meet planned, not a definite date for it but it's gonna happen. no idea when i can do a few other meets i've got planned so if anyone (who i am chatting to and knows we're gonna arrange something) outright asked me when we can meet i've just said i'm not free until after the 9th, but if these people haven't chatted to you they might not be comfortable saying something like that...it's even possible they don't like being asked to meet without chatting first but were hoping to chat after being added as freinds?

also i know people wanna be added for no reason other than pics.

It's Christmas. I would have thought my message was one of dozens saying the same thing so wouldn't have got my knickers in a twist about it honestly.

On a personal note, because I know people on here are uber sensitive I'd have updated my status wishing all a merry Christmas and looking forward to meeting friends old and new in the new year message.
