It's at least 4 hours for me too - have you ever tried driving south-north through Wales (mesmerisingly beautiful, but...). I have work the next day, otherwise I would go.

I can't say I have driven through Wales but I've heard it's a lovely place with lots of sheep lol I understand you tho it is a long way but was worth it
