Older men/women

Why is it a majority of us prefer older men/women? Is it the thought of them having much more experience than ourselves?

For me it's just I have an attraction to the maturity of the older generations and always believe that they can teach me something

I'm not interested in much younger people sexually but I do like their energy, enthusiasm and fresh take on things. I think almost every professional and social situation is improved by having a good mix of ages.

I don't think it's a case of being appealing as such. It's more knowing that in a social or professional situation age isn't a barrier to useful contribution.

I guess though that you're really referring to sexual situations.
