Reading the profile

Near Chelmsford

Is it just us or does everyone receive messages where the profile has clearly not been read?

Now I know our profile is a little long winded but that's because we know what we are looking and we want people to have a clear understanding of us as a couple too before anyone's time gets wasted. A profile is there for a reason right?

Or are we just way too fussy?

It happens so often on here,we get messages from single men even though we aren't looking for them.

We have had messages from couoles looking for Bi females too,when we are straight.Just use it as a filter and delete .

I think a lot of people don't often read the profiles but some do. As with everything it's hit and miss here.

It's not just men who don't read - messaged a woman here yesterday, got a reply, messaged her back....

...Then got a reply saying she hadn't realised (until getting my second message) that I was married - and it's quite clearly in the first line of my profile!

Sometimes it's the profile more than the pictures that turn me on more on fab, especially if it's a greedy girl or a couple who play a hotwife scenario.

Our profile also says "If you want to drop us a mail please send more than a one line email, we're not asking for an essay, just a bit more than "How are you both? x". We can save you the hassle of asking that question right now by saying we are both fine."

9 out 10 emails from couples are "How are you both?"

On the rare occasion that I get a message, it's usually painfully obvious that they haven't even read the first four words.

what i find people who do long profiles are to fussy they forget that this is a site were everyone are looking for sex not a long court ship also no one puts what afge they want 18 to 99 covers a lot of ground they should put the age they realy want

You are not alone.

Take solace in the knowledge that many, many others endure the familiar sight of a little yellow rectangle, bearing a "Hi" with possibly a "how are you?" or "fancy a fuck?". Sometimes my favourite may be there. Just a "do you have face pics?"

Alas, chances are that it is going to be from someone completely unlike what you have painstakingly asked for in your profile blurb too!

But don't give up. Be strong! Be patient! And above all, set your filters!!

Not every guy that emails is looking for a meet. Sometimes they have questions about something I've posted in the forums and don't want to ask publicly. If I block all single guys they have no outlet to ask.

Because you have just stated that 90% of your emails are from unwanted single guys, you can stop them by blocking them but you choose not to, hence the rolling eyes

We too have a long profile and have stated what age range we are interested in as well does get very frustrating when people haven't taken the time to read your profile we think we will just wait until we go to clubs and socials and get to know couples better there now

I never message anyone first like my buddy told me when he said i should join don't bother let them find you.

And no all have been fine.

I think the trick is to keep it short and brief unlike a lot i see that are just too long winded to bother reading in full.

Less is more sometimes guys.

Got a wink today from a couple, swapped a few messages and because the guy was listed as straight we thought we would check he was Bi (We say in the first few lines on our profile not to waste our or your time if your straight, we know some guys for whatever reason don't like to say they are Bi)

The reply was very short "WE DONT PLAY WITH BI GUYS" and then blocked us.

We wonder if it's maybe one half of the couple doesn't have an issue but the other does, so then there's the lack of communication.

It's not always because people are ignorant. We've sometimes read a profile, messaged, then spotted something we didn't before which makes the message pointless. Oops!
