If you have regular meets on here and they buy you gifts do you accept them?

A guy has just bought me a gift but unsure if I should accept it or not as I don't want him getting the wrong impression??

I would feel uncomfortable. Refusing a gift can be pretty awkward too.

I just feel that nsa sex is a reciprocal arrangement and one person giving gifts upsets the balance.

I knitted a scarf for a regular meet. Last thing he bought me was a deck of top trumps cards. If you know someone well, I don't see an issue getting them a small gift. I've been given sex gifts by one off (so far) meets as well - there was something we both wanted to try and I now own an anal hook as a result. I bought a cock ring for a meet once because he was intrigued at the idea and I was walking past a sex shop on my way home so I popped in and got him one. Gifts are like compliments; they can be accepted without having to reciprocate. The intent behind them can be what makes receiving either feel uncomfortable, not the act itself.

I,d accept a gift from my FWB but not any other men.. Likewise I have bought him a Christmas present but would not buy any other man one. Depends on the circumstances really. I was once told I had to wash a guys sheets and towells after sex, then bring them to next meet, thus I would have to meet him again. I stopped meeting him.xxx

I see nothing wrong with accepting gifts. Almost everyone I've met, I've considered a friend by the time anything happened---and some people just take pleasure in giving gifts.

I don't ask for anything, I don't expect it, but when it happens, it's always nice to know someone is thinking of me enough to bring me something that will make me smile even more.

I don't have a problem with it if I know them well. My fuckbuddy has bought me lingerie before because he is a perv and gets a lot of enjoyment out of seeing me wearing them and I enjoy his reaction. I don't feel uncomfortable giving or receiving gifts...as long as they are relevant if that makes sense.

For me it simply shows the 'saw this and thought of you' thing.

Maybe I'm naive, who knows. Or, maybe I just have a kind hearted nature. My 'normal' friends and I get each other stuff because we think they'll like it, just to be nice and know you've done something that could brighten their day

I felt weird about it when he told me he had got me something, but I got over it when I saw what it was. If someone brought something along for use during the evening I'd contemplate using it.

If they bough me a bottle of wine then I would accept it as buying a bottle for somebody you are meeting seems normal to me in any situation, if I go round to a friend's house for a natter and catch up I'll take a drink

Anything more than that I wouldn't accept it, I had a guy turn up with underwear for me once and I wouldn't accept it, simply because I don't want to feel obligated or have anybody feel they had a hold over me

Last thing I would want is if I decided to stop meeting somebody them throw back in my face all the things they have given me or see me as a gold digger

I actually had someone from here buy and send me a gift as he felt he wanted to, he wasn't looking to meet me or for anything in return apart from the feelings he enjoyed knowing he had bought something for me.

We had chatted and although I know it is unusual, I went with it as he explained how much he wanted to and seemed sincere.

We agreed to have it sent to my "safe place" as I really wasn't comfortable giving out my address.

Depends on the context & the intent behind it.

Everyone meets in a different way so I don't see a problem giving / receiving gifts. There's a big difference between that & people trying to buy favours.

I've been given a book, it was something that was unique to him & it made me smile.
