I don't want to start a rant but I think this great site is starting to produce more timeaster. I know and have played with some great people in the past but lately I just seen to attract idiots. Three bogus meets in a week. Perhaps it's just me

It's not the site that's worse, but your right their does seem to be lots of weird people that join then leave, just ignored the newbies and stick to people who have been on here for a while is your best bet.

This. It's worked for you before. Maybe your selection process. There have always been timewasters on here. Hope it improves for you.

I think I used to chat in more depth with more people a year or so ago but since then not as much. It's not as if I've said to them everything I had to say. I'm assuming it's social Darwinism at work. They found someone better, more interesting, faster, stronger, worth six million dollars.

Haven't met at all recently but when I was there was no week long conversations. If she/they liked the look of me and I them and we got along, a date was set up as soon as. Usually without friends requests being exchanged.

I think more people dabble.

We swing a few times a year, we are too busy to commit any more time.

Maybe in the past it was more a place where people were on to get meets more instantly.

Were as nowadays if people only want to dabble once or twice a year they don't feel they have to leave and come back.

Theres alot of wannabees on here, agree with the most Fab section also, same people on there every day, alot of fake profiles on here too, ones without pics that demand pics you know the ones lol but theres lots of genuine people on here also

Whilst I agree OP, I notice that there is also a lack of finesse. Alot of couples really want you to meet on the drop of a hat. Its irritating as people seem to overvalue the desire for sex on here. I really dont understand the people who think that men are supposed to march hundreds of miles, across cities for a shag. This is why I think Tinder is ultimately better, even for NSA experiences. I really dont do anything that isnt local.

We have had four social meets in four years and had loads of members say they would meet us and not turn up or cancel which can be extremely frustrating but it's part of being on the site you need to either accept it and move on or quit the site there is nothing else you can do about it

whilst in some respects i agree with u as i wouldnt travel miles either... but i agree more so for the fact that there are too many let downs time wasters and fakes. i wouldnt do it as it would be a gamble on wasting my time for someone who is pure wrongun.

at the same time u say u dnt get people who want u to travel miles...

however when u first chat do u read how far away they are ? if so why not say then that whilst u would love to meet them if closer u wouldnt be prepared to travel the distance to at the very start of convo then u aint wasting urs and their time chattin when a meet wud be out of the question.

and if ur the one who instigates the messages to the people who expect u to travel miles then perhaps pay more attention to the location b4 u msg them mate coz u can hardly moan if they have received msg from u. u shud have seen location and distance before u did if u are stipulating that u wont travel coz if i got msg then got told they werent about to travel id be like well not being funny why fuckin msg me then coz if u aint prepared to travel to me why the hell should i put myself out to travel to u

As a site becomes more popular, more people will join. Some of those people use it for advertising for gang bangs and parties that you have to pay entry for. Some use it for self-pleasure and don't want to meet. Some use it because they are lonely and it gives them someone to chat to.

Some want a quick fuck and nothing else. You have to invest your time to find the ones who want what you want.

OP, if your "method" stops working and you get bogus meets, then you can either

A) adapt your method to remove the issue

B) not change and accept an increasing risk of being messed about

Everybody can do as they please, but I know what I'd do...

we have been on here nearly three years - we tend to play with the people that we meet at swingers clubs then chat to them on fabs as a way of keeping in touch....occassionaly we get talking to a couple or a single on here and it actually ends up in a first meet - patience and deleting messages that don't seem genuine....hard work but worth it, m x

Yes, know what you mean, we've been using the site on and off for 7 years.

The club scene has had an impact too. If you're not into clubs it can be even more tricky on here now.

U can just simple report them for being time wasters and block them.. the more reports fab/ admin get with a profile the more they can deal with it..

We e been on and off fab for over five years and agree too . Way too many dreamers , pic hunters and timewasters now . We rarely use fab to arrange meets now .
