I know its the pit falls of this site but its still a massive let down when people dont show. Im now all alone in a preston hotel

I have also been let down tonight! He rang me to ask which house i was..then 2 mins later i get a text to say *oh ive had to go home, i will contact you again*

Dont bother!!

And had another on Monday night too

Both verified, and both blown it with me, i dont do second chances!

some people i think bottle it at the last minute.. especially on a new meet!! everyone must get that rush... or is it just me :-/ lol but ive never failed to meet anyone on here.. not very nice thing to do.. especially if u book a hotel like the dude at the top!!! id be pi***d right off!!! lol

you'll be lied to and let down.

but its best not to go after them or have a go next time you see them online.

just block them and move on.

they do not deserve anymore of your time.

Its really annoying and frustrating but dont take it personally or let it dishearten you. Happens to most people at some time in one form or another. Then you have some brill fun and forget all about it.

I've even had it with someone I have met before. I really thought someone I had met the week before and who had called me earlier in the day to confirm would show!

moaning, complaining or generally submitting a winge. Always reason. Wrong form, wrong office or wrong time. Ive staked the place out and think if I plan it well I can break in and write my complaints on the wall. That will teach the complaints office not to accept complaints.

With Fabs I always make sure I have a back up plan as not easy to arrange a meet got to sort out child care etc so if meet does not turn up and provided there is enough time get back on fabs or go tease/chams and still have a great time.

its not a sex that lets you down its the person .... i find both men and women can do no shows its very annoying

its a shame the site dusnt have a meet request form where you fill it out when you arrange a meet the other person clicks to say yes they agree they will meet , then after the meet you can leave feedback and if they dont show up you can do this also to say so , altho they also can comment on the feedback to say why they didnt show up ect

Personally, if I kept being messed about and stood up I'd look at my selection process. In four years I've never encounered a no show or time waster: and I won't.

As I've said numerous times on these threads I always meet socially first and during my lunch hour outside the M&S where I go to buy my sandwich. If they're not there, no skin off my nose as I don't even have to break my step: they've always been there.

When arranging a play date it's a flexi-day I've booked off to do my windows, clean my grouting, my garden - if they dont turn up I'm in my own home with things I had planned anyway - again, they've always turned up.

It works for me, you won't find me traipsing all over the place to meet people. Some people get a kick knowing you're there waiting for them, it some how takes the wind out of their sails if they realise if they turn up or not you don't really care!

Excellent sense as usual.

Now i'm a housewife,its part of the reason i do all the mail ,forums ect.So i dont arrange meets except for a day kev is free anyway.We rarely have a pre meet meet,just jump straight to the sex, but still have never been let down.

My way might be very different from sassy's but what we share is a process that works for us.

i think ppl sometimes need to look at their process and why it might not be working.

Btw i pay next to no attention to veris.

I think I had one or two even a couple of bad meets at the beginning but have learnt from them and moved on and can say within the last year not had one no show. And if travelling I meet them half way.

Oh and if staying over at chams I will get the guy to pay for the room and I pay entrance and beers etc. Go halves on everything. So we both know where we stand.

we tend to plan a spa weekend in a nice hotel for our meets, if they don't turn up we still have a relaxing time for us without the stresses of home life.

it's a win win plan so we don't care if they turn up or not, great when they do though
