I understand your comments... however when i said it doesn't matter i meant that i don't really care what women think... unless done by personal choice or medical grounds then it's child mutilation on young boys... there is so much in the news about FGM but i also believe it's wrong to circumcise young boys without consent..

There is no medical justification for routine circumcision and religoon is no justification for anything. It's (usually) an unnecessary surgical procedure that causes a permanent change in the child's body, inflicts pain and, like all surgery, carries the risk of complications and infection. If an adull wants it done for cosmetic reasons, then that's sad but acceptable. Doing it to a child should be outlawed except when there's a specific medical issue.

My husband is circumcised so not completely against it on medical grounds, but it is not without risks. We have 3 boys and I certainly wouldn't do it to them, it's their body and their choice not mine to make.

Each year in the United States more than 100 newborn baby boys die as a result of circumcision and circumcision complications. This is the alarming conclusion of a study, published in the journal Thymos, which examined hospital discharge and mortality statistics in order to answer two questions: (1) How many baby boys dies as a result of circumcision in the neonatal period (within 28 days of birth)? (2) Why are so few of these deaths officially recorded as due to circumcision?

The study, by researcher Dan Bollinger, concluded that approximately 117 neonatal deaths due directly or indirectly to circumcision occur annually in the United States, or one out of every 77 male neonatal deaths. This compares with 44 neonatal deaths from suffocation, 8 in automobile accidents and 115 from Sudden Infant Death Syndrome, all of which losses have aroused deep concern among child health authorities and stimulated special programs to reduce mortality.

I was thinking this myself.

Surely if you find someone who prefers a cut cock and you are uncut - or vice versa - there's really very little point bothering yourself about it.

I suppose you could use a similar argument about those who have a preference regarding body shape, skin colour, length, height etc.

Some women like circumcised cocks. Others don't.

As a result, about 79% of American males are circumcised.

Why a government organisation is allowed to promote child mutilation is beyond me.

This link really sums it up... As far as im concerned it's inflicting unnecessary pain and mutilating a baby boy... Apart from occasional medical reasons there is no justification gor this procedure... Religious reasons are bollocks especially!
