Maybe not the right topic/title. Someone at work approaches you and says he has a crush and would like to date you. Another just approaches you with sex on his mind (yes fellas, we can tell). I'm very uncomfortable with the former yet quite comfy with someone approaching me for sex (I may or may not accept but that's a different issue).

Am I off base or do others feel similarly? This happened not too long ago and I struggled with making efforts to not hurt feelings because he seemed like he really did like me.

Are you maybe concerned because you feel like the 'date' guy will get hurt because you're not into monogamy?

And also his agenda is not yours? Ie if you are not looking for a date leading to a rship etc... where other will be just sex. A bit of fun.. but both can dangerous in the work place.
