Mixed Race... Yes or No

OK so this may have been posted before but I find a lot of profiles state... No Asians. I don't see this as racist like some do because we all have our preferences.

Although is it the colour or the culture they dislike?

I'm a proud mixed race male and have always seen my natural tan as an asset but I have had it become an issue when arranging meets on here.

What I'm asking is for advice around this and how to state my ethnicity. TIA

That's my way of thinking... I'm just aware of and I suppose feeling the blunt of 'stereotypical Asian males' ruining it for the decent ones.

It's completely subjective. There are women who only sleep with black/mixed race guys and not white guys, even though they're white themselves. Although this hints at someone emotional trauma or a cold/distant father bringing them up, it's still a valid preference.

Then you will have women that only sleep with white guys. I expect the majority of black women to prefer black men, but I have slept with a black girl who had never slept with a black guy.

Theres no set rule.

I'm not sure a preference (no matter how little I agree with it) is an indicator of a traumatic experience. Anyhoos, OP, it's just one of those things. Bring it up if you feel necessary, if not then don't. Avoid profiles with negativity shown towards race, there are many others that don't mind and some that fetishize it.

You can't change who you are so why try and get round it

I'm Sicillian by birth, though I have lived in the UK since I was three so have no language barrier

I've been turned down a few time because of this, I was told by one guy on here.....sorry I don't fuck foreigners

I used to go on the sun beds when I was younger simply to hide my colour

I wouldn't now days, I am what I am

If people don't like you for your heritage just accept it and move on, don't go out your way to me more appealing to them

Wise words. You're totally right. It is just very demoralising when negative remarks are made before even chatting to me.

In your case it is his loss!

I feel I fall into a limited category, most state either white or black as preference... mixed is neither.

Although I have met and chatted to some fantastic people on here

I hope this post doesn't descend into chaos as I like to read a good discussion.

I'm an Asian male of which many profiles state they don't wish to meet - as well as that I'm Pakistani (parents side). Me being born here however, I couldn't be more British. I go out, I sometimes drink and I date. I have only ever dated white European women.

I've had many people flat out refuse to talk to me, but then have had others who after having met with me and talked with me wished lots of Asians were like (not blowing my own here haha!).

As long as you're a good person then you should just associate yourself with other like minded people. Be proud of who you are and state whatever you want on your profile (be truthful though haha) - if we were all the same life would be boring.

l don't think lt's colour but the assumptions about certain cultures's opinions.

Be proud of WHO you are pug. Whether your mix is black, white or Asian, being British mixed race is becoming the norm.

I tend to meet white men...only cos I'm of mixed race and black or Asian don't really do it for me. ..but saying that I have had a couple of black men encounters which were very nice...but my preference is for white......
