Im by no means saying we are any of these, but do you feel of your family or friends no you or you and your partner do swinging they would think your wrong, seedy or whatever..

I do feel that if close family or friends knew me and my partner was into swinging theyd would consider that not much less than if we was escorts.

I suspect that if your family and your "partner" knew that you were on here, then they might be judgemental. Would it matter?

My friends, family and co-workers all know and it doesn't bother them in the slightest!

If you act as though it is no big deal and explain what it means in reality, then no one I have met would have an issue.

How much seedier is it to hang round bars trying to chat people up?

We don't want anyone else knowing we swing. To our friends and family, and for 99% of the time, we are one couple; when we fancy getting wild, the only people that know about it is us. We will never meet often or build friends or go to clubs or socials for this reason, as it's our dirty little secret ...

We think certain family members may be judgemental----parents for instance. It's not something we have discussed with them although we wouldnt discuss our sex lives with them---even if not swingers. Friends, though are a different matter as we talk more freely with them so a few are aware and none have been judgemental. They are curious though!!!!

All my family know because some kind soul recognised me on here and went and showed them all. They are all judgemental but I seriously don't give a fuck what they think. It's my life I will live it how I see fit

I love that we do this. Lots of my friends know and are interested and intrigued more than they are judgemental. And I am sure one or two will dip their toe into the scene at some point. We are who we are and we live by our own rules, not anyone else's.

One of our children descovered we had a new hobby,despite being amazed/staggered/shocked/freaked out & many other emotions,she said "what the hell,enjoy yourselves " so we do lol.

It's inevitable I suppose that at least some of the people who know me might be judgemental if they knew about this. I expect my elderly mum for example would be worried and others would probably be shocked because in real life I'm quite introverted and reserved in most social situations. It'd be sad if anyone's feelings on the matter meant they stopped speaking to me but I feel confident I'm doing nothing harmful to myself or others so wouldn't be distraught at the character assassination nor question my own personal morality as a result.

They know.....friends think it's great. Family seem ok with it. Work colleagues think it's funny and regularly take the piss......a bit jealous sometimes. But I am who I am regardless.

Their opinion wouldn't matter either way...why should anyone judge me?

I don't think it's anything to be ashamed of. No different to picking up somebody on a night out at the weekend. Saying that though. I have only told 2 friends. Reason is people are judgmental. I know some of my family would have a problem, some friends and definitely most of my customers. I'd love for it to be all out in the open. For one I could put a pick up!. But I can't take the chance.

So many people have misconceptions about the scene. The amount of people I've spoken to and they believe it's a case of throwing keys in a bowl is laughable. Many people would and do think it's seedy, but that's based around incorrect information/judgements; once they'd been informed correctly, I believe people would be more understanding.

I have a few friends that know, but I'd never tell my family which is my choice, but if they were to find out I wouldn't deny it.

People do have misconceptions. I told my friend, and he assumes that hubby wants to shag lots of women and I've been manipulated into going along with it somehow. But my hubby hasn't much interest in other women. It's me he wants to see with other men, or hear about what I've been up to. But my friend can't believe it. I think he thinks, I'm being played so hubby can shag various ladies. He doesn't understand at all.
