Ever been catfished?

As in have you gotten close to someone online who turned out to be not who they claimed to be? (Watch the Catfish documentary and/or tv show for examples).

This may be a stupid question, as I see every other woman here moaning about liars, but I'm interested to hear stories about any you've - for want of a better word - exposed.

I've met a couple of guys who had either had a bloody hard life or were (I suspect) actually 15 years older than their stated age. That's kind of like cat fishing.

Met a guy once who was muscly and 37.. turned out to be two much older guys and not a muscle in sight! Now normally I'd run but for some reason it worked out very very well

Yes not on here, a while back. Real long story but a she turned out to be a he quite how "she" was going to pick me up from my house in her flash audi without me noticing is beyond me.

All the time. Reverse Google is an essential tool for me. I'm constantly amazed by how many celebrities/porn stars/rappers etc make a profile in my small city.
