Hi

My partner and I are looking at swinging or having a threesome with a woman. I have always been inater step in being with a woman but I am very happy with my man. He has had threesomes in the past, I haven't. Has having a threesome ever ruined someone's relationship?

Being open and honest with your partner is a vital part of your first experience. Talk about the different scenarios first and set boundaries for you both that you are constable with.

Make sure you are both in agreement and I'm sure it will not affect your relationship.

When people want to evolve in their relationship they would normally go to Anne Summers and buy a toy. Then they evolve again only the toys are people and the only way to look at it is that you are gifting your partner with pleasure. If you are both gifting each other then obviously that is all it is.

If you have a stable and secure relationship then you shouldn't worry as you are highly unlikely to develop relationships with others as they have the same boundaries and play rules as you do.

A very very long time ago, yes. Had an FFM with my then boyfriend which was a little clumsy, but at the time ticked boxes. I came home from lectures (yes it was THAT long ago that I was still an under graduate) to find said boyf and other lady doing slightly more than having a cup of tea.

With my much much older head on, our relationship was probably on the wane anyway, neither of us had the maturity or experience to talk properly about expectations and boundaries and it was all just new and exciting/confusing.

So, an ill thought out or discussed FFM maybe didn't ruin a relationship, but it certainly hastened an already inevitable conclusion.

C and I were fuck buddies before we realised we were soul mates.

He came around to see me whilst an old university friend was staying with me after a night out. One thing led to another and as we were both going down on her he told me that he loved me... So in our case it brought us together! Sharing a women together really helps us connect on an indescribably-deep level.

That totally depends on you and your partner.

If you talk to each other and are both happy to have threesomes with others it can make your relationship stronger.

If one of you has doubts and goes along with the threesomes because that is what their partner wants it can destroy a relationship.

Swinging is not a black and white issue it is something that changes and develops with every meet and as a result is something where you both need to be aware of each others feelings and concerns

I doubt having a three some was ever entirely responsible for ruining a relationship. It might be a symptom of deeper problems or a last ditch attempt to save an already failing one but there's rarely just one cause.

When it comes to sex with people outside of your relationship if you or your partner have doubts, don't do it.

As a bloke, I'd always wanted the FFM fantasy, and my girlfriend was bi-curious. We found the right girl and loved it.

But. We set boundaries first, mostly that I wouldn't go all the way with her. That gave my GF time to get her head around another woman playing with her man. If you are not sure, then take your time, you can't wind back the clock

But for us, it has made us closer
