How do you know what you like?

OK so this might sound a little strange, but how do you know what floats your boat? I mean if you've never heard of something, let alone tried it, how do you know if its your thing?

I know the simple answer is to experiment, but its not always that simple. You need someone to teach, experiment with.

I've learnt things on here just from profiles, even if I haven't been involved!

if you like the idea of something that's a good start.

some things have not really appealed to me but i tried them anyway, i didn't hate them but for me they weren't better than i imagined and i can brush them off as not doing again coz i didn't really enjoy them.

I think there has to be an initial curiosity. There are things I'll never try because I've just got no interest in them.

simple think of the given subject and imagine yourself in that scenario, if you get horny or excited thinking about it its worth a try,

if you feel nothing the leave well alone
