Has anyone had any bad experiences with people they've met from here?

I was on a different site, got chatting to a man, we never met, yet 3 weeks later he declared he was in love with me, and leaving his wife to be with me. He even left his phone open with my picture on display, in the hope that his wife would see it and throw him out.

Makes you think about what characters are on some of these sites.

I met a guy from here and had sex once. ..he said he thought it was special and he wanted to marry me!! bit scary!

Yep, that's why my pictures are either hidden or friends only, won't give my number out due to a certain fab member, who liked to set up fake profiles and give my number out to guys, only ever did it when he seen me with my bf at the time! Needless to say, this time around, I'm a bit more wary about who I speak too and show my face pic too!

I also got chatting to a guy when I first joined fab..he said as I was new he'd give me some tips...he would then tell me something horrible about each person I became friends with (before I knew you could hide your friends list).

When he asked to meet and I politely declined I began receiving messages from lots of 'female' members who all told me that this guy was the only genuine member on fab and I'd be stupid to not meet him!

When I blocked them all I got a message on Facebook! !! have no idea how this person found me...saying that I was a desperate whore and that they were going to make sure everybody at work knew I was on fab (even named the place I worked at the time) ....scary!!

Not from fab, but a guy a few years ago who I talked to far too much told me he was in love with me. This was before we even met. Freaked me out a bit.

Had this with a 23 yr old from Hereford.....bunny boiler! Fair enough she stayed overnight on that first meet so we had sex several times.....Didn't see it coming though. Had to block her. She came back with three new profiles in next month or so before finally disappearing.
