Is it ok for a guy to send a message to females and couples telling them theirs pics are great in addition to fabbing them?

I like to do this when I see expectional pics, however sometimes think its taken with suspicion rather than simply what it is.

It depends how you phrase the message (and on the recipient) We get the odd message about our pics where is clear they're not fishing for more and it's quite nice, but equally it could be seen as pushy if you've fabbed the pic and the message is badly put.

Its nice to receive a message saying our pictures are great,

But then we send one back saying thank you, this opens the flood gates, 0.6 seconds later another comes from the guy asking this and that, before we know it we are in a convo, then the convo will change to them meeting us, then they will usually wonder why we haven't replied and then get the arse when we say we don't wanna know. So I will admit its nice to get a message of praise for our pictures, but yes it almost always is just to start a convo we don't want.

It also depends if the couple are wanting contact with single guys.

Sadly every single guy who we have thanked for a simple compliment see it as a green light for more.

Only telling you about our experience.

I'd say it's OK.. I do it often, purely to show appreciation for photographic/modelling skill. It's not easy to take a great pic so praise is definitely due.

Completely understand and can see how a guy sees it as a way in to arrange a meet. I personally don't look for a reply back but if it comes great. I also prefer to message folks that don't stay anywhere close so there is no alterior meet intent.

We get this a lot from men and couples that are miles away, even from USA, we don't view it with suspicion . Very occasionally it's followed by a message saying "we're in your area next week" which is fine too and once by a request that we provided bed and breakfast

That's great but going by our personal experience we would rather not have the message.

Exactly the same. If someone messages us, we like to reply to be courteous and respond but some people see that as a green light.

If it's a truly exceptional picture, I will send a polite message about it and nothing else.

On my old profile, when I allowed my pics to be fabbed, I always sent a standard message saying

"Thank you for taking the time to fab my picture."

We would always say look at the profile and see who the people in question like contact from.

If they don't like a certain group, then respect their choice.

for me fabbing them is enough.

i'm one of the suspicious ones, but i do get that it's hard for guys to make conversation on here so saying something like that is an ice breaker.

if more people were honest and did not do manipulative things to get us to interact with them then i'd be totally happy to receive such comments AND reply with a thankyou to them.
