I have removed a few pics from my profile as one guy recognised the bar it was taken in and told me on here that he knew me as one of the barmaids- yet it was a small country pub and very little of the pub's decor was in the background!

Phew! A bit of a wake up call that!

Privacy is very important to me- especially after the expose on the policeman, so I will have to be ultra cautious from now on!

Anyone else had a similar experience?

I had a guy that recognised my first swinging partners apartment! When we had a joint account at the time. He told me about my partner in detail but wouldn't tell me who he was! My mr didn't have a clue who it was! It spooked us

I had a guy who recognised me on here after seeing my profile on a vanilla dating site. He messaged me on both accounts to tell me how he'd spotted it was me. I've always used different pics for both sites and never put my face on fab. He was a little creepy but not harm done

I have recognised loads and loads of women on here that i have seen in person before and both on other sites, thats there business

I still wouldn't want people pointing me out in the supermarket though

Agree d it is but this guy was smarmy about it and clearly enjoyed telling me, like a wee kid!

My Own Little World

My husband recognises people from Fab while we are out, but he looks at profiles I rarely do. Have never mailed them to say I saw you up Asda today or gone upto them, that is a bit creepy.
