Following a reply from a different forum post, has anyone experienced scenarios that you thought were really hot in fantasy but wasn't as hot when it happened in reality?

The only one I've had happened like that was visiting a club. But maybe it was the club I went to, or the night I went.

Before we attended clubs I thought it would be really hot to watch others playing. Turns out I'm not a voyeur as only once have we sat back and enjoyed watching another couple.

Everything else about going to clubs/meets has been better than expected when we took part though

Yes definitely! I've done it a couple of times, I've learnt my lesson now though. I'll never take my fantasies any further than just being a fantasy

Probably because in your fantasy the couples were hot but the reality is totally different!

I generally avoid trying to recreate a fantasy because you spend so much time trying to make things just so that you fail to enjoy the moment.

Also, people in reality are never as impossibly attractive as in your head. They also can't deliver the perfect sexual stimulation tuned exactly to your needs. Eventually maybe

I think there's an element of this but not the only reason.

I would far rather see sensual and intimate connections rather than fucking and in the main, that's not what we witness out in public areas. Also I feel quite self conscious watching, so the only time I've really enjoyed it was after we played on an open bed then lying back watching others play.

This was my experience also!

People went on and on about this club and how much fun it was and we were super excited to get there!

Huge let down!!! I think it was night and clientele though rather than the club. We're going to try it out again one day! X

Oh yes, I had a thing about being blindfolded so I allowed someone to try it with me. I felt like I was going to pass out, I'd never sweat so much and was uncontrollably shaking (not in a good way). I thought it'd be something of really enjoy, turns out not so much.

it was not so much a fantasy, as more curiosity factor.... and I wasn't that impressed either...but I think it was the night I went on (it seemed rather quiet) and the actual place looked a bit tired and run down ....
