Not reading the profile

Jump to newest

We got so many people who don't read our profile and it is really annoying. We get questions that are answered in our profile which makes it obvious they haven't read it. And friend invites from people in England and USA.

Then they ask us for meets and we tell them how many hundreds of miles they are away and they go "oh sorry I didn't notice." It's in the username..

And then we get people who don't read the profile and we tell them to and they refuse. They just get blocked. Don't see the point in making an effort on someone who can't even spend a minute or two reading a profile.

Do we need to make it more obvious that if they don't read the profile we won't meet them or is our profile too long?

We mean we've seen plenty of profiles with novels in their bio and we still make the effort to read it if we are interested in them

We constantly get winks & f.requests from couples so we go check them out. Nowhere on their profiles will it say the fem plays alone..fucking annoying sometimes, but as we don't actively search for couples it gives us some pics to perve

Well, despite the obvious desire to read your profile after this message, I went to look (I have no idea where you live) and gave up as soon as I saw a numbered list

We have a list due to number of rules we have and these are questions we get asked daily by over 50+ people. So would you suggest bullet points?

Everyone knows that many people don't bother to read profiles, so that's why it doesn't bother me if people have one or not. I don't expect people to read mine, I have/had the filters there for who could message and because I'm not looking for a certain type of person I don't have those requirements in my profile, as there are none.

I've looked at profiles before and thought, is there really need for all that? What is there left to talk about. All I want to know is what they look like and if they can have a decent conversation and that is done through messaging. Only thing I'd like to see on a profile is whether or not they have a partner that isn't aware they are on here.

After a while you learn to ignore messages that ask the already answered questions. Many use the question as an opener to a conversation as they can't think of anything else, no realising it makes them appear to have an IQ of 50.

I opened your profile to read it, saw a numbered list of 10 no's and hit the back button.

And OP, use the '+quote' button so people know who you are talking to

Having a load of nos and then a shit load of text is daunting. I wouldn't turn them into paragraphs that'd just create more text. Some of the points don't need to be there, or at least some go together, like the no giving your social media/number and don't do sexting, pretty obvious you're not going to sext if you don't give out your info. As for the rest I've forgotten what points were there and I didn't read the text.

We can take the messages from people who have clearly not read our profile. We generally delete or block. If we just delete, then it's the abusive follow up messages which are hard to take, since these people clearly have no idea how to behave with any dignity or recognition of our right to set out our terms.

If people get bored with profiles, that's fine. Move on. The point of our "rules" being set out as they are is it means we don't have to answer hundreds of messages that ask e.g. "does she take it up the arse, can I cum in her mouth?" It really does save people wasting a lot of their time.

I agree it doesn't take long to read most profiles (some are way too long! )

I appreciate your points are trying to get a certain message across -though the kitten play.. won't until you use the phrase!! That's taking it a bit far

Perhaps it's not about the points more how things can be phrased to seem less negative , negative , negative ?

Unfortunately as others have said your options are

* filters on and you do the searching

*don't reply to the messages just block and use as a filter

There's no perfect answer

You will never change others so you have to deal with it one way or another
