Why do people always state on verifications to treat someone well and you will be rewarded?

Are there that many people on this site that treat people badly?

Well, it would take a long time to explain plus we prefer to keep a lot of stuff private. And we wouldn't want to scare you of the site lol.

There's plenty of examples in the forums.

Don't you think it comes across as a little patronising for a saying! Reminds me of being back in primary school and getting a lecture about how special the class pet was and how important it was to look after them when you got to take it home during the holidays!

I was chatting to a guy on here and he'd let a guy sleep over with his Mrs while he was in the next room. The next day the guy left and his wife had been bitten and bruised quite badly. I said what did you say or do, because he was quite a big guy. He said he'd messaged everyone he knew and said, be careful when you meet xxxxx and he explained what had happened. Personally I wouldn't have been responsible for my actions and I would have reported him to the moderators. I always say I'll treat your Mrs/partner as if she was my own, and I'll treat her with respect

I agree it is patronising but some people rely on stock phrases and I don't worry about it too much.

I had very few problems on single profile. But I have had a few issues as a couple. Not that anyone has treated us badly. But there seems to be couples profiles that don't deliver so to speak. I think it relates more to say be genuine

I've never seen that on a veri personally OP. I have seen "look after him/her"... Which is of a similar vein.

There are always going to be some bad seeds on a site like this OP. Some lie to fit in to your preferences. So people can get treated badly, yes. Had one myself when I first joined years ago.

Sounds awful that! I guess if you are letting a stranger into your home you can never be too careful! Don't think I would do that until I had really got to know the person.

Understood. I guess sometimes the truth can be exaggerated or people get excited at the thought of something but then choose not to act on it.

It is a shame. Almost infers to me that there are people out there that think it is a choice of whether they treat people in a way that they wish to be treated themselves!

Don't worry I have seen the size weights that you lift so there is absolutely no chance of me treating you with anything more than the utmost respect!

Like Mr & Mrs Retrosexual said, you see it on so many veris that I think people just copy it. You see all kinds of them the more you read.

Personally, I find that writing a verification like a weird Amazon sex review is a little creepy.

It's the "and you will be rewarded" comment that makes me

Makes people think it's like TripAdvisor. Treating people like some sort of menu. Reduces them to just being a 'good fuck and a sum of sexual acts' rather than a human being.

Someone noticed but yeah...something very weird sounding about that.

A guy physically hurts my gf (who doesn't want this yet shuts up and allows it to happen even though I'm in the house?) and suddenly king kong wouldn't have shit on me. I wouldn't be showing him the door and doing a shit bit of naming and shaming....the story doesn't stack up right.

I like to think I get a prize or maybe a loyalty card..like five meets and you get a water sports session. you can save up for something in the premium range of rewards, ranging from ffm to a two night dogging tour of your chosen county

Shit...That's genius actually!..i'm so starting a loyalty scheme!

I always think the whole verifications thing is a bit odd because the reality is that just because someone got on with you does not mean that they will be compatible with the next person they meet.

I wasn't there so I don't know all the details, but it's happened to more than 1 reading the comments. Maybe the guy thought her screams were in passion not pain.

I was going to say that's why it pays to only meet verified guys. But someone has said above it's happened with verified guys too.

A friend of mine was travelling and writing a blog. I don't know where he was but xxxxx was a army PTI and I thought he was pretty streetwise. Anyway he met this girl and went back with her to meet the family, he woke up in a field without £3000 (this was on his travels through Thailand etc) My other friends there now Bangkok Pattaya etc.

Fact is often stranger than fiction

I was telling my friends a few things that happen at our AGM 1 said be careful Neil. Said at least with fab I can see their verifications and they can see mine. If I went out for a drink and met someone I wouldn't have a clue as to what she/they were like. Keep having a fab time and hopefully the good times outweigh the bad times
