For others they may prefer women today, guys tomorrow and CD/TVs another. Why should they have to put bisexual or bicurios if, today, they only fancy women just because at some other time in the past they fancied a guy. You wouldn't complain if someone changed their preference from blue eyes to brown eyes, you wouldn't say they were lying because they changed their preference for eye colour. Why is this any different. The only question is what do you fancy. If you fancy them and it then say yes and if you don't then simply say no. What's really the problem with that?

I saw a thread somewhere (not fab) recently that talked about the new trend on gay-hook-up websites was for a classification of men as 'straight' when clearly they are not. I think the people who use this would probably say they are active (ie. a top) but won't indulge in any of the more touchy-feely or passionate elements of sex.

Either way it's a crap descriptor if they like playing with other guys. And on a site like fab, approaching 'straight' guys asking if they want a BJ is ridiculous in my opinion.

I get infuriated by orientation descriptions on here personally. For a start, there have been several (very good) play sessions where I found out afterwards that the guy is bi but lists themselves as straight, which is annoying as we could have had SO much more fun

Also, as a bi guy, I tend to steer away from anyone listing themselves as 'bi curious', simply because it implies not knowing - and I don't want a play to end abruptly because he decides he isn't really into it. Once someone has had some bi play, enjoyed it and wants more then they should call themselves 'bi' not curious...even if in the 'real world' they identify themselves as 100% straight (I do).

It really isn't difficult folks. If you don't want any sexual contact with someone of the same sex then you are 'straight', if you have never played with someone of the same sex but fancy it you are 'bi-curious' and if you have played with someone of the same sex and are into it then call yourself 'bi'. There are a range of points on the bisexual continuum which are not broken down (such as oral-only, or 'full' bi) but that can be covered in the profile.

I get that people struggle with admitting their sexuality, or are afraid people won't play with them but it doesn't half make life more confusing than it should be

I am gay and when I joined this site if it said Straight on profile I left well alone , but the amount of "Straight" guys who I was getting messages and meets from ( most even had not looking for guys on their profile) far outnumbered the bi or gay guys So now I do wink "straight " guys and I think it's about 3/10 success rate

Here is the difference between a straight guy and a "straight" guy before and after 4 pints (or 6, or however many).

Before getting pissed both will decline politely.
