Message effort from fabbers

You see a lot of threads regarding the message effort from single guys... But I was wondering if my fellow fabbers have a different view on couples or females and their messages.. Do you accept lazy messages from them?

Reason I ask is I've been contacted twice this week from couples.. Both messages just said "hi"..like come on, what am I suppose to do with "hi"! Intrigue me. Grab my attention at least a little!

I wondered if it's "acceptable" for one group to be lazy but not the another... or are these isolated incidents?

Given that men far outnumber women/couples, most...keyword being 'most' not all...men would jump on a message that just said hi. Why? Because most men complain their inboxes resemble deserts or uninhabited planets so any message is something to rejoice over.

Maybe an initial lazy message is ok if they are exceptionally hot. However if I reply and the response is equally lazy then it's straight to block. They have my attention. Now is the chance to shine and impress. If they are lazy then I think they will be a crap lazy fuck and we won't get on.

I know.. Couples act like they are something special with random out of the blue approaches like

"U avail9"

Women and couples deleted and/or block randomness like that, coming from men (single or otherwise).

It doesn't matter what you do as long as you maintain your own, personal, level of politeness.

A nice message approach,a polite response or rebuff and no abuse on rejection. Maintain your own personal standards and dont worry about what others are doing.

Its a good way to filter to be honest.

Dave

you're spot on. As said above, it's supply and demand - the men have to try harder to stand out. I've had a few people contact me first and probably only two or three in my 2 years on here have actually constructed a message of the standard that, I'm guessing, most ladies and couples would expect from a guy.

But that's the way it is, life is unfair I guess. I will always reply if anyone messages me as I see that first message as the opening feeler. I tend to find they open up more in their second messages onwards. If they don't and it's more very short replies then things tend to fizzle out.

It's always your prerogative whether to reply of course

Great points from all, thanks for the different perspectives everyone.

For me however, my profile is clear enough and their message should indicate that they have at least read it. A Hi won't get a response from me, it will get a delete, although I rarely block users.

But like you say, each to their own.

...Up on the Downs

I don't complain about lazy messages as I think it's really hard for guys on here, and if I really like the profile I will reply to 'Hi' or 'How are you'. A better message just stands a better chance of engaging me is all.

My Own Little World

I ignore a hi message from any profile, but 95%+ come from men.
