no show grrrrrrrr

I (mr p ) arranged a social meet with a couple we had not met before,we arrived at the pub at the correct time,sat in car park as agreed,waited & waited still no sign so went in for a drink,texted them to say we were waiting,no answer.

Gave up & drove home,as we pulled into driveway received a text saying we were a week early,ooopppppss mrs p not impressed lol.has anyone else done anything so daft ?

Something very similar happened to me.

My very first meet, a coffee social in the city centre.

He turned up and text me to let me know he was there. I thought we had arranged it for the following day and couldn't make it

Luckily he wasn't too upset and did meet me the next day as he lived very close by. We spent a lovely afternoon chatting but never took it further.

Arranged a meet messaged her on day only for her to reply I thought we were meeting day after I can't do today and never did get a meet as she disappeared off site a week later

Phew its not just me then,we have also since met them & have arranged a play date.
