If you messaged someone, and they didn't think you were attractive, would you rather have a message back saying.. "Sorry, I don't think you're hot."

or just no reply?

Also if someone messaged you and you didn't fancy the look of them, what would you do? Reply or politely ignore?

Simply type "No thanks" or "Sorry, not what we're looking for" it worked for us.

As a single man, I'd honestly rather have no reply. If I log on and see I've got messages, it's fun. If I then read them and they were all "no thanks" - that's disappointing!

I can take it as read that no reply = you're not for me. I don't see it as rude, I know girls and couples must get loads of messages.

Yeah that's what I think, if someone said to us "you're not what we're looking for" we'd know exactly what it meant anyway.

I don't see it as being bad manners to not reply. The internet world is different to real life. Maybe if someone's really gone to the effort of writing a nice, personal message you should reply with a no thanks, but what about cut 'n' pastes? Do they really deserve a response?

We always try to reply even if its a thanks but no thanks,it does get difficult when people are keen on you but you dont fancy them,we reply with sorry you are not what we are looking for.

I agree with this too, we've had people ask why and then list things like...how close they are to us, how theyre within our preffered age range. It just gets awkward...when you don't wanna reply saying..."I think you're a real minger" cause that's really what you're thinking.

no thanx is a no thanks whether on the site off the site, but it doesnt mean u cant communicate in chat or at parties etc.heard some like to block those they arent interested in after a message, never felt this needs to be done at all, unless the persons being a fud on the first message or the impending messages to come.

If it's someone who ticks all the boxes bar I just don't fancy them, I'll always reply to say "thanks but you're not quite what I'm looking for".

OTOH, if it's a cut and paste job or they've clear;y not read my profile (or have and decided to mail anyway despite knowing they're too young/old, not local, married & cheating, attach unwanted cock pics ec) I just delete. And I block repeat offenders.

Had one guy message me FOUR times in the last 36 hours, despite him being way younger than lower age limit - I deleted the first two unanswered, replied to the third to tell him to stop pestering me with so many messages and then, in the split second between sending that and blocking him, the fourth message arrived, begging to be my sex slave! Not even looking for one of those.

The only time we dont reply is when ppl write one liners or things like fancy a meet in 30 mins, etc etc. Although sometimes i reply to bad messages as i cant halp myself. had a 19 year old message us today, saying ohhh i fancy a go at THAT. Needless to say Bish was not too happy, so he send a message back saying his missus was NOT a play station game, and if he wanted to play a growp up game then he needed to act like one. Just couldnt resist.

But back to the topic, yes 90% of the time we will reply, even if its a polight no thanks x
