Empowerment

I've been trying to think of the right word

But I think empowerment is it

When you try politely to talk to someone

They give you a bit of grief and block you .

I think it's empowerment

Life's a bit shit

I'll take it out on him

A bit like a no mark being rude in a supermarket

The staff still need to be polite but he can make himself feel better about himself by talking down to someone and get away with it

See where I'm coming from

Just a theory

Lacking self confidence, manners and respect perhaps? Maybe it makes them feel better about themselves?

The fact is there are a lot of rude people on the site/life in general who instead of being decent be dicks.

We see it everywhere because society as a whole is becoming more callous, competitive and materialistic.

Rather than just make a sweeping statement about the site bring full of rude people without backing it up, we try to reply to everyone who messages us who has clearly read our whole profile.

Its a small copy n paste bit (polite no thanks) and we get loads if people thanking us for replying and being nice.

Shows what most ppl must be like?

OP I know what you mean. I do have fantasies of being totally obnoxous to everyone I meet sometimes. Just being rude, telling them that they are silly, fat, stupid peices of shit that arn't worth the food that they waste by eating it!

But then I calm down and realise that's something not to be acted out in real life, or online. It's only in computer games that you can do that kind of thing.

But, yeah it is an empowering fantasy.

I presume you mean ladies. Women do hold all the aces when it comes to sex/dating sites but most women don't abuse that power and get off on it. There are a tiny minority who do however - their heads are so far up their arses. Gives the rest of us decent ladies a bad name.

Don't bother about them. Move on. Simple.

I used to work in a supermarket and yes, customers treated me like crap because I wore a uniform and could therefore be seen as some minion.

That's not empowerment. It's lacking confidence and emotional maturity.
