Retirement Village

This topic may have been posted by others but am gonna throw it out there. I've been seeing a friend for a while. She knows im on here but is 'vanilla' in the sense that she wont consider it and doesnt want another partner male or female but likes to explore kink with me.

Im respectful of her and dont meet without her knowing which she has been cool with. Recently though her 'feelings' about our open relationship have changed and she wants firm commitment. Im not in the same place on such things and am struggling on what to say or do.

Any ideas guys and girls?

Break it off, she wants something you don't and it'll only end in hurt either way.

Tell her "Im not in the same place on such things" and see what she says.

It's perfectly possible to have an open relationship and still be committed. But you would have to want the commitment. And the nature of the open relationship would have to be such that you and her are both happy with it. Open committed relationships still come with rules. If you don't want to commit, then explain to her your position, and it's then up to her as to whether she is happy with what you offer.

You need an identical twin brother who works away a lot.

Thanks all for your thoughts. Much appreciated

Its an open relationship between us but she wants exclusivity, sort of what society would see as a relationship or a couple. Have been burnt too many times before so am not in the same place.

Think we need to sit down and be clear with each other on where we stand and where things are going so there's no heartbreak for each other
