We are now in our 40's and embracing the swinging lifestyle for all it's joys, but last night we were talking about some of the younger meets we have had.

Inevitably we ended up asking each other why we never started doing this 20 years ago? If we had the bodies and the energy we had in our 20's now, coupled with our new found sexual liberation, would we have ever stopped shagging???

I know there are a fair few in the twenties and we're keen to hear from you to, but for anyone older than that, what do you think. Were you a 'late starter' like us, have you been swinging for a lot of your adult life?

If you could go back to being 20somethings, with the knowledge and attitude you have now, would you?

Interesting sinario but in my 20s I was more interested in beer, lads nights out and the "pub chase" with girls ! I would not change anything in my life experience!!

I wasn't mature enough in my 20's and now I actually have a better understanding of women and what they want,I also have a better physique now than I ever did, better than most guys in their 20's.

40's are the new 20's in my opinion.

Exactly. We spent our twenties wasting time with all that stuff, but now we have a whole new outlook on life as swingers. We're not exactly sluggish now, but imagine what we could do with all that young energy!

Oh god no! I wouldn't want to go through my twenties knowing all the crap stuff and horrors of reality to come. I was far less cynical then too and still had a rose tinted view of the world around me...

I was certainly a lot fitter in my 20s as I was in the Forces, but I didn't have the confidence i have now...so yes I'd like my old body but with my current Fab knowledge and self confidence

I was 21 when I first got into swinging- I have had lots of years off inbetween though. I would love the confidence I had in my 20s when swinging. I didn't have self doubts like I do now

I'm the opposite. It was years of self doubt that stop us getting into the lifestyle. But 2 years in and we feel foolish for not jumping sooner

There's a good concept - myself I wish I had the mind I have now, but 15 years ago. Alternatavely I would like to junk my "old" body of 35 years and start afresh with my 20 year old body again.

It would give me so much more confidence and energy.

If the OP is actually offering me the opportunity trade in my body when I hit 40 for my 20 year old self I would grab it with both hands. The only thing is I would have to keep the same experiences that I have now

I've had no children, but my boobs were still far better back then. Gravity is not my friend.

We still have the bodies we had in our twentys and feel lucky tbh .. i ..the male was a dj in ibiza at that point but although it was a blast ive never been as happy as i am at this present moment in my life .. a beautiful partner . Soulmate and lover all in one box .. lucky lucky me eh xxxx

We have a similar conversation only the other way around. By the time we don't have to sort out (very rare) babysitters and we are actually free to get out together, will anyone still want our bodies.....?! I guess there is no 'right' time that fits all. Don't worry about it, enjoy! Mrs x

I have alwais had a good body, but I am bigger muscle wise, as I am living the fitness lifestyle. I like the dieting and killing it in the gym routine. I wake up with the same enthusiasm as I was at 18 when I started doing weights

Im All to sure puk would love her flat tummy back and being a size 8-10 but we didn't have kids back then,Lincs certainly wouldn't like his 20s body back 16 stone of muscle caused more trouble than a little people wanting to fight me no thanks,quite happy as I am today

I've virtually still got the body I had in my twenties much to the annoyance of friends I've got a very good metabolism so eat and drink what I want with very little exercise needed

We were in our early 20s when we first got into swinging.

To answer OPs questions, it's pros and cons. Mrs would take the tits and arse she has now, but not the belly.

I was very skinny too, still am slim but glad I've filled out a bit, although I'm fighting of a paunch.

Swinging seemed a lot easier back then, but we think it was the nature of the scene compared to now.

We were a lot more unhibited and care free, but paradoxically less confident then.

We certainly don't regret getting into swinging so young, but we're not sure we'd like our younger selves, we were a bit snotty and up ourselves lol.

I don't think I would be the same person I am now although being in the shape of my life with the stamina might be good, I would hate to be someone counting notches on bedposts and having sex for the sake of it as I fear immaturity would've got the better of me...

I'd have my body from the age of 26-30, I was slim size 10/12 with boobs

coupled with the confidence I have now to show it off.

I thought I was fat back then & had no body confidence at all.

I was married and having babies in my 20's which just wouldn't have been compatible with this. I'm glad it happened that way, and I actually prefer my body now to how it was then.

This would have suited me more in my 20s...my sex drive was through the roof! I had great curves then and was slimmer..a size 8, and felt sexy within myself.

As I approach 50 next week I no longer have the youtful looks and figure and the menopause gets in the way more than I would like!

I'm in my 20s still. But when I look back to pics of me 8/9 years ago I realise I've grown into my body! Haha. I look much better now than I did then, for sure
