So ... found a new woman profile, got chatting, arranged to meet for a coffee tomorrow, gave her my number to text, got into a very genuine-sounding message exchange banter about turn-ons, then suddenly without warning her profile is deleted.

So - is it worth my going into town tomorrow I wonder?

Perhaps family circumstances panicked her into deleting? Or is it someone having a cheap laugh and or wank? She sounded totally genuine ...

Maybe I should wait to see if she texts.

Possibly a man posing as a woman. Was the profile verified?

I wouldn't waste time waiting, get on with the day as you normally would. If she texts, great. If not then you've lost nothing.

And of course, there's always the possibility that while you sit waiting for a text that doesnt arrive, you may have missed out on meeting someone great in your day to day life.

Thanks to the person who PMed me too.

I don't think I gave them any wank material in my discussion of turn-ons and fantasies. Just some matter of fact stuff. But who knows - there are some strange folk around. I guess we're all a bit strange really. But some of us try to be open and honest.

I know there are fakes on here, but also some genuine people. I met someone whose profile seemed fake (it sort of was) and who cancelled a meet but who I have since met up with and had fun together and has proved to be amazing and wonderful.

This has happened twice to me. And like you I now can probably spot it a mile away. I was sceptical with the second one when I was exchanging messages.

Move on dude. Don't move a muscle, when in doubt, Do nowt! (It's a Lancashire saying, or at least it should be).

Absolutely. But I don't like to let someone down if her profile deletion was unconnected with me. But unless she texts we don't know how to meet up anyway - time arranged, city centre agreed but details of where still vague.

Almost certainly not going to happen now, but I don't like to let someone down and it's possible they may be genuine.
