Because they have decided it's for them to do?! We have considered it ourselves - I do have a single profile set up but it's currently in hiding as I rarely meet alone and even when I do I prefer Paul to have met them first for safety.

But lots of our friends have single profiles who are married can't see the issue

No couples can play separately. If I was to play with the lady of a couple I want to chat on a single profile. I wouldnt respond to a couple profile. If you have a problem with how others run their profiles OP just ignore them. Simple really.

I have both, each profile is referenced in the other. Myth and Legend meet and play as a couple, High Heels as a single lady with other single ladies. Pretty clear and unambiguous I would say, why the confusion OP?

I have a single and a couple profile.Reason being my wife likes to play seperately, as do I. Our couples profile only attracts single males generally, and it's hard enough meeting women as it is. Plus we are both brand new to the swinging scene, so 3sums etc are a fantasy at the moment which we will no doubt act out at some point. However our single profiles give us more scope for meets as individuals

Me and my both have single and a cples profiles we meet seperately or together we did use to cross reference on each of the profiles but found less people willing to chat we have access to each others account so no secrecy and we operate each account accordingly

That's why I have both so that people who fit my criteria and want to meet a single woman can find me and I also have a couple profile so that people who fit our criteria and want to meet a couple can do so. Still not sure where confusion springs from OP???

Singles "

A singles profile represents the capacity in which that person is looking to play. A singles profile does not have any reflection on whether that person has a spouse, partner, girlfriend/boyfriend or FWB. If it is your preference to only play with totally unattached single women, then you will have to apply your own filters to ensure that is the case. Us personally we do play with attached men, but they must have a singles profile. We would not contact a couples profile if we only want one half of the couple.

Yes, 'single' as in the capacity in which they are looking to play! Not 'single' as in marital status. If you also require your playmates to be single in their personal life as well as when they are playing with you, that's up to you to check those finer details.

Or you could try a dating site. You'll only get the real singles on a dating site, unlike Fab which provides a legitimate outlet for attatched singles wanting a bit of fun.

It's easier to manage and i look for different things when i meet alone to when we meet as a couple. It's far easier having separate profiles. I'm not sure how it affects anyone else's enjoyment of the site though?

That's how I read it too. I have a new-ish couple profile which I don't mention in my single one. But that's because it's not relevant and I meet alone

Completely different requirements from both sorts of meet.

It does fuck me off tho when I'm looking for a female and end up with 'but my man wants to watch...'

My partner and I met through this site over a year ago when we both had single profiles. Now we only meet as a couple. On this profile we refer back to our singles profiles as we both had a lot of verifications which potential meets might want to read.

Over the past 5 years (on and off the site) we have had both a couples profile and single profile (at the same time) we simply did this because there were times where I wanted Mrs to have fun on her own aswell as fun as a couple and whenever she wasn't looking to meet on her own then she would simply hide her singles profile, we did it this way as it was easy to manage rather than do it all through our couples profile, but since coming back to the site we both decided were sticking to the couples profile, but don't seem any harm in people having both types of profile.

The worst ones are when you come across a female single profile and the women message saying they only meet if it involves there partner/fuck buddy when it doesn't mention this on their profile, that's when it should just be a couple profile.

We met on here as singles over 3 years ago. We initially kept our singles profiles so that we could talk to each other in the chat rooms. Even though we both rarely use our single profiles now we've still got them. We've both got numerous verifications on them from over the years which people can see if they want to.

I have both, our couple profile is for arranging meets as a couple. We have a very specific wish list when we play as a couple and can set filters accordingly.

My single profile is for hanging about on the forums, talking to friends and chatting with people who wouldn't fit the criteria to message on the couple profile but are still thoroughly hot
