Just wondering what is considered too far to consider meeting someone. Some are convinced that only playing locally will be considered, whilst others are willing to travel or host others further a field. Do you have a preference?

40 miles was my limit and i hated waiting for 20 mins+ for people to turn up.

For me, no where is too far, if tgeyre worth it. If travelling for over 2hrs I'd be stopping too though.

Dont have the time anymore to travel 3 hours for a meet like I used to. Max is 30 mins I will travel.. give or take.

Meeting someone I know and like: taken a 2.5 hour flight last time

Here occasionally, but mostly somewhere else

Each to their own.

I've travelled 175 miles for a social, 150 miles for meets more than once, and been stood up 40 miles away.

The only rules that OP should adhere to are his own.

Local or far away is all good for me. What I don't like is having to travel for a long time or spend lots.
