Ok a little rant here two women have been in touch with me today both sent a message I replied very politely and sent the face picture as they asked no reply of sorry not for me but just blocked.

How ignorant.

Fair enough if I started bombarding them with message's then block.

It must be very frustrating.

I'm afraid that lots of women (according to forum threads) receive abuse when they turn men down so choose to block instead to avoid that.

As difficult as it must be its best to try not to let it get to you.

But what have you lost by being blocked? People take it way too personally, we've blocked half the f-ing site

Yep OP. This is par for the course on here. Chin up, we can't all be every woman's cup of tea.

I've had random friend requests from females and couples - which soon after accepting, I've found that they've mysteriously de-friended me - The conclusions I draw from this are:

a) My ugly mug scared them off.

OR

b) The individuals are actually 40yr, 20st blokes still living with mummy and they're collecting naughty pics for their wank bank.

I generally choose the second option, as it is far easier on my ego.

Nothing wrong with a bit of self delusion in my opinion

We use the block button for many reasons, and one of them is to avoid contacting people who've said they're not interested or we're not interested in.

It's not a personal thing and you shouldn't take it that way. It's not ignorant, it's utilising a site tool.

That's anoying. I'd say these people did'nt have good manners at all. But at the end of the day you can't change what they did to you so you can either feel angry/sorry for yourself or you can accept it and move on.

If you have no profile picture giving people a slight clue as to what to expect, then why are you surprised ?

Think yourself lucky, I was speaking to a wonderful woman, picking her up in the mornings, dropping her to work, getting on great, was due to possibly meet this afternoon, decides she's meeting someone else and blocks me, that seems harsh.

Ok so am I understanding this right? These women showed the first interest by messaging you, and you politely replied with a picture of your face. They took one look at your face and decided to block you, even though they were the ones that were interested and you were simply replying to them?!

Owch!!

Surely there must be a kinder way to say 'I don't like your face'

I guess that will teach you to dare reply to a message lol
