Any idea why posts suddenly dissappear or are they removed by admin?

Usually, yes. I have just reported a thread, and it has vanished.

They only disappear if admin remove them. There may be in appropriate material on there

When something breaks the rules it may be removed. Go and read the FAQ on what's allowed if you aren't sure.
