Always interested that some people say they find their 'vanilla' friends boring now they have found the lifestyle. Others dabble in the lifestyle as a sideline and others only have friends who are also swingers .... where is the line for you? Do have you have friends outside of the lifestyle or do you think your only real friends are fellow swingers?

For us, our 'real life' friends are far from boring, we always enjoy seeing and spending time with them.

They've been there for us (most of them) before swinging and no doubt, will be long after.

While we've made friends through swinging, in general, they're often only short term friendships. People move on, split up and what you're all looking for/want changes.

I don't bake and I don't eat cake, not sure if that qualifies me as a swinger though, or not boring?

Before I found swinging I was not happy and found my vanilla friends boring. Since I've got into swinging I am happy and find my vanilla friends boring in some respects but great in others.

It's interesting that you describe swinging as a lifestyle, I guess it's more difficult to be friends with people outside your chosen lifestyle because your paths won't cross much.

I wouldn't consider swinging describes our lifestyle in fact I'm not sure how our lifestyle would be described

so our friends are mostly made through work and hobbies.

My vanilla friends are ace and never be without them...

Sexy friends are just the same and include them in non sexy events as respect each others little sexy secrets (does make for some great innuendo s and banter which only we giggle too)
