Lazy?

I wonder whether the high ratio of men to women on this site encourages some women towards laziness.

There's quite a lot of profiles on this sie (well where I am anyway) with no photos and no real narrative. I guess some women think why bother when even the most superficial profile can get 50 messages in 2 minutes.

Whenever I've ended up chatting to women like that (I'm a curious sort of guy) it's been hard work. Again it's like they can't really be bothered to make an effort and I've quickly lost interest. Perhaps ultimately they don't end up with any real success as the guys they'd want to meet don't want to play to those rules...?

Very good point on losing interest. I normally did that on a profile page with one line. The bast I've seen was..

I always think that the less you have on your profile the more you invite the chancers.

Yeah I agree....the last thread about why do men only send the same 2 messages and why don't they read my profile was from a woman with a 2 line profile saying what she didn't like x

make things clear for everybody. Then, if they reply and specificaly don't fit what your looking for e.g., no tattoos and they message looking like someone who works for Miami ink. Can they complain when you say no?

I've blocked everyone and do the searching myself. Having done so for almost a year now, I'd say there are a fair amount of men that are lazy on here. The amount of non existant profiles with no pics or text must be in the thousands. In fact, I'd go as far to say that very few men's profiles are appealing enough for me to message but then, the gems that are there tend to stand out more. Cannot comment on lazy women as I don't look at women's profiles.

Saying that, I did a little experiment the other day and set up another profile with no pics and just xxxx on the profile and within a couple of minutes of it being up I'd had messages asking to meet me

I've deleted the profile but it did prove to me that as long as you say you're a woman on here, you will get messages no matter how shit your profile is

I was incognito on here for a little, because I was still figuring out if I wanted to come back. I had no pics up. A very generic profile text, yet still had hundreds of messages... Some telling me how beautiful I was (go figure ). So you are right. Men will message, as long as you have female on your profile

You did have a photo when I said that lol!!!

But that's the point. I wonder how many women don't put themselves out to develop their profiles because, frankly, they don't need to. Whether that means they don't get the 'right' guys messaging them of course is another matter...

i think some women might be lazy but i get the feeling that others don't want to be identified for good enough reasons.

it seems to be, but i may be wrong about this, that being female online has a lot more disadvantages than being male. from small things like men thinking their opinion on our bodies is valid, to bigger things like actual threats and stalkers.

i'm not meeting so hidden my profile and removed all my freindslist as i'm not interested in most of them on it (i've had 2 messages since then instead of hundreds). but i have had to do stuff on here to get rid of stalkers.

my profile was pretty descriptive when i had one though. and i agree you don't even need pics as a female for the phone wankers/dirty chatters/fantasists but if people actually want to meet for sex then you do need them.

We can't win though because I get sarcastic messages telling me "they read my essay" or they "managed to stay awake" whilst reading my profile.

My profile does not contain more demands than a hostage taker and I don't think it's too long but hey....each to their own.

When I first joined I wrote one line...."if you made it to my friends list, I'm interested in fucking you"! I got messages telling me I "sounded interesting and my profile was to the point" blahhh blahhh blahhh...

I always read a profile and try and pick something out from it which will clearly show I have taken the time to read it and I believe could have a connection for what the said person / couple is looking for x
