a quandary, could you change my mind?

For the right person, distance and time is of no consequence.

When it's right it's right.

Lancashire

We travel about 2 hours but couldn't see myself going much further. Otherwise you spend longer driving than actually on a meet.

Well I live in an area where the motorway is just near my doorstep. so lancs cumbria and manchester would be an ideal distance.

My furthest Fab trip so far has been to Bishops Stortford which is about 80 miles or so away. Lovely lass, well worth the journey and we didn't even get nekkid

For the person I have a connection with and clearly want to meet?

There is no limitations. I've been as far south as Portsmouth, North as far as Blackpool, East as far as Grimsby and as West as Bristol.

I nearly had a North of the Border meet but that didn't pan out.

Same for us, if it feels right it doesn't matter, though have to say it aggrieves us slightly that some say they can't meet at the drop of a hat then turn us down because of distance If your not going to shout "I'm free for two hours" what does it matter where we've travelled from? Got turned down by a lass not 40 miles away. Made us laugh because we are becoming regulars at our nearest club which she is five miles from. I'd hazard a guess they are just trying not to hurt our feelings but this is Fab and not a lot of that goes on so maybe what S says is more accurate in that many of the single (more vanilla) ladies put very broad wants in their profiles to hide the fact they just want cock as if they just came on here asking for such they see it as wrong so they feel more swingy and hide it a bit by saying they are bicur or bifem. Then they just knock back the couples & women. I looked at one the other day wants all options, been on years, all 16 veri from men & the published ones all from men under 35 even though she's got 18-99 in the age range..No point in contacting her then because as far as I can tell she's as bi as S is.

It's a pet peeve of mine when I see "If only you lived closer!"

If I get this line, I'll just reply with "I travel, so I'll leave the ball in your court" 8 out of 10 times that's the end of the conversation, occasionally though you do get the person worth travelling for

After once being stood up miles from home and left watching a programme about sheds in a shitty hotel room on my own, I now don't travel. I just lure them to me instead.

How can anyone stood you up. Seriously what is wrong with people. I barely get a meet due to work commitments but when a beautiful lady is wanting to have fun I'll make the time

We travel for social events and club nights but not one on ones unless we have met them previously- probably because we like regular meets rather than one offs and also there are lots of hotties in the midlands so we don't need to go far

"Those who travel so far would you be going back home the same night?"

Me personally?

I've been invited to stay over, I am always hugely flattered when that happens which is quite regularly, the level of trust placed in me is overwhelming.

But I will always ask the person to recommend a decent hotel near by

Experience has proven to us time and time again that the distance to be traveled matches very closely with the drop off in reliability.

We now refuse to travel far to meet someone - without a plan b, c and d.

Equally we pretty much ignore offers from a distance where they assure us of their reliability and promise to travel.

It's not being gash. Simply realistic based upon experience.

"Those who travel so far would you be going back home the same night?"

Nope, for us it's a break from out normal life too so at least one night in a hotel maybe two. We would like a regular if infrequent fwb that's why travelling isn't that much of an issue, well not for us anyway.

Thing is not being bothered by distance to some may smack of desperation but S has been in jobs where he drove 1600-2000 miles a week and a little while back he and a friend rode to Snowden, climbed it & rode home again! It just doesn't enter his head that it's far, it's just a drive/ride away..He Also once drove to Bilbao on Spain delivered something, turned around and drove back!! What's too far for some is a jaunt out for others

I've travelled over 100 miles more than once and even 250 miles for the day, then back again.

Some people are certainly worth it.

Obviously I have a bit more energy if I have a shorter trip

Well I would walk 500 miles and I would walk 500 more, just to be the man who walks a thousand miles to fall down at your door.

Well, no offence OP as I'm sure you're a great guy and all that but actually I probably wouldn't for you. But some other hottie maybe

Same one;

The answer is up to 2000 km;

I regularly go to Rome, Paris, Berlin, Madrid, Milan, London ( if I can't avoid it).

Usually about 2 hours on a plane .

Locally, Bordeaux, ( hour's drive) Toulouse ( 2 hours.)

Same I'd probably travel for about 2 hours to a meet. I don't drive and want to factor in getting to the train station etc. So we are probably talking about a 60 mile raduis

I reguarly used to travel Northampton to Bristol about 2 hours for a regular cpl of mine. When the sex is good it's worth it. Only had one meet when I travelled an hour and I just couldn't do it with the cpl, no attraction what's so ever.

I've taken a 3hr drive oop north for 5hrs in a hotel with a lovely forumite and drove back that same night. Next time I am definitely staying the over! I don't think I was really safe driving after all of the days activities
