Sad that that is the case still in this day and age, but it is a thing so we may as well make use of it.

Once that groundwork is done it's not difficult to get the rest done. If the guy will host it at his home even better; you can be the last to arrive, having been given the thumbs up that it's safe and controlled by your organiser. Then you're the centre of attention for as long as you want.

I've never organised my own - 3somes or 4somes yes, but full on gb of 6, 8, 10, 12 guys or more? Noooooo. Have someone else do it for you. Not your husband tho. Having a trusted single guy do it keeps you away from the nutters and pervs and undesirables and you stay anonymous until you say otherwise.

Good for confidence, good for nerves, good for lack of experience, good for your safety.

As for timewasters......someone will get cold feet, or something will crop up to stop someone attending. It just happens. So, set your maximum, set your minimum, invite the maximum and expect somewhere in between.

It is empowering, as has been said already. It's not violent or exploitative or demeaning. Most I've had at once so far was 12. I loved it and I want more. That's just me though; I wouldn't suggest anyone start with 12. 5 or 6 is a good number.
