If it puts people off and they end up meeting one of the many 40 somethings on fab that claim to be in their 30s then it's a delicious irony and even though I might be missing out as a result I am pretty damned certain they're missing out more.

I honestly think a lot of people blatabtly lie and turn up at meets thinking that they will either get a mercy fuck or people wont be to rude to turn them away at that last minute.

I've a sense of humour age between 8 and 68, liking the dumb as well as mature, sophisticated humour. My skin age was seen recently, showing prolonged sun exposure, probably giving me a skin age over 100, in many places. My health age isn't too great, having left this life and returned. I'd probably balance it all and put me at 70, so can take granny crumpets crown in the future.

We met a couple a while back in a bar as you do who we hardly recognised from their pics,they were both late forties two years ago. The first thing they said to us before taking a seat was to apologise for obviously being older than they said..mid fifties.

They now have a new profile and have not learned the errors of thier ways as they are now younger than we are

They were good company but would not admit their age as felt no one would meet them,of course we chased them.

Why be dishonest ? Our profile is honest about our ages and our age preference. Have had messages telling us we look sexy and our profile appeals but, we're not their age range ! Thanx for the compliments but why bother to message ? This is not a social media group and we all have other real lives ?

I'm 38 exactly what my profile says but I've been told I look a lot lot younger, which suits me just fine. I have an ex fwb who puts that he's 5 years younger than his actual age (you can tell he's not) grey hair and middle aged spread will always give it away lol. I don't understand the need to lie, you are what you are, be happy with it, you can't change it

if some women or men aren't looking for your age group then there is usually a reason !

Every single guy we have met and played with who is over forty has shaved a few years off their age in order to appear more attractive to people like me, who have a tendency to prefer men in their thirties. But I'm glad they all lied about their age, because such a good time was had on those meets. If they had told the truth there is a risk I may have bypassed them. So when people say 'there's no point in lying', with the guys we meet, yes there was, because it gets passed my predudices. And when people say 'you'll get caught out in the end'. Well only if someone asks you for ID, or you choose to disclose during the meet. I know a lot of people find dishonesty extremely offensive. But I don't see that it really matters on minor things - I just wanna fuck them, I'm not gonna marry these guys.

No we haven't changed our age limits, because these guys in their forties were never outside our age limits. As I said I deviate towards slightly younger men, and that's not likely to change. And my husband prefers to watch me with men that he considers youthful looking. But I do like men in their forties too, and many do look younger. It's just that we're less likely to notice them at first glance. These issues are very minor points to us.
