We used to wonder why people got their knickers in a twist about fake accounts etc. Just block and move on right?

Well recently the last 5 or 6 "couples" contacting us have been guys. Sad lonely wierdos.

We've now become quite good at spotting the fakes. On over a year? All kinds of fantasy wishlists... but no veris. Seriously. On for a year and no couple meets?

The best one was someone talking to us for a while. Didn't share pics (work reasons apparently) but shared body shots of both male and female. Was going to meet us at Townhouse... the wife was called into work last second.

Ok, not a problem. Let's sort it another time. Asked us for face pics. We obliged. Meet re-arranged for following Weds. Again, called into work (wife). Ok, no problem.

Third time was last week. This time the wife just didn't fancy it. However, they did have one verification in that time... from a single male account. But the review was hidden.

Odd because they don't meet single guys, were not looking to meet single guys as the idea turned them right off etc.

Call them out on it... get blocked.

Weeks of talking, nice messages and then that.

So yeah, we now understand the frustration people have on here with people like that

Some people really have nothing better to do eh? At least you managed to call them out on it and hopefully shamed them! Well, I say "them", it may have only been one person!

Not necessarily guys though. A girl recently got sentenced for trolling Jamie Bulger's mother.

We don't. That was the part I was saying where it's now obvious to us about who is a fake.

The "couple" we were talking to have been on 3 weeks.

To be honest, your profile reads like you meet couples regularly. The etiquette is to leave a veri to show that you're a genuine couple.

Only you know the reason why you have no veris.

We have met loads of couples and attended many socials but people seem to have a fixation about having verifications on here.

We don't really look for meets on here because like has been stated before there is to many timewasters and daydreamers.

We have found that attending the socials usually let's you meet all the genuine people from our area.

It's been said loads before you can normally see the indicators from the first couple of messages.

The benefit of having veris is that it confirms that people are real and not fake. That is the best reason for having them. Like you, if I see an ad for a couple who have been on here a long time - but don't have any veris - I think I am little more suspicious.

Could not disagree more. We have more social meets on our profile than any sexual type meets showing that social veris can and are given.

We've met many genuine people too who aren't even on fab. But as a general point, veris help us out the frauds and fakes.

Interesting post

I had a guy contact me a year ago with an incredible body and wearing tight boxers...so good looking and yummy!

We exchanged messages but he wasn't in a hurry to meet..then I was browsing more closely at his pics when I saw a watermark on a few of them with the Marks and Spencer logo right at the corner. He had failed to delete the whole logo! Yep it didn't go further after I accused him of being a fake.

Quite a few couples have contacted me and I always insist on early phone chat with the lady..strange how she always seems to be working! Now it is only verified couples I meet

I haven't had your experience - but I am wary of emailing or contacting a couple who don't have any verifications. Given how many single guys there are on the site - most couples who want to meet should be able to meet. So if they don't have any veris - indicates that they are probably a single guy. The veris prove they are a normal couple/lady..

Funny enough, as soon as we asked for fem/fem phone call, they blocked us or didn't reply hahaha

We always go with our instinct, verified or not (so easy to set up fake accounts and verify between them) and if something doesn't feel right we just block and move on. You will get the hang of it.

Our first couple meet was with a recently registered profile and had no veri's. But we both could tell with their initial message that they are genuine. Arranging a social was easy and no hassle. We got on great with them and have met up a few times since then.

Everything you said in your post would raise instant red flags with us. These sad and lonely fellas obviously has too much time on their hands and really spoiling it for the genuine single females/men and couples.

Maybe arrange a social at a club and if they mess you around you can still have a fab time.
