what makes one woman a Milf and the other a cougar? Is this more a woman's preference or is this more related to age?

Usually a milf is a mother/or older, and a cougar tends to be a lady who's 45+

I thought a milf was a mother I would like to fuck and a cougar a older women that actively seeks younger guys for sex.So ones being looked at by younger guys the other is looking for single guys lol

Yes. But people say Milf to women who don't even have children, if they are a certain age . The only reason I know about Cougar is because I googled the correct term about a year ago. Then there's GILF!!...

Both are terms banded about by young guys under the misapprehension that any woman of a certain age will be ridiculously grateful that someone/anyone wants to shag her.

Neither are terms I would use to describe myself or anyone else, I prefer "woman".

By definition you can't refer to yourself as a "milf" surely

I always thought milf was a woman old enough to be the mother of a teenage boy. Stifler's mom type thing. Now it seems to be used for every woman who isn't a teenager, whether she's got children or not. I'm 31 and childless and I get messages from milfhunter, luvcougars and the like every day.

I'm sure there are some women who are happy to be fetishised for having children who lap it up, but I won't even answer any message from a profile referring to milfs or similar. I'm clearly not what they're looking for.

I don't find the term flattering at all. Ive apparently been a MILF for sometime as my eldest son is nearly 16 but I look nothing like the image's of milfs you see on porn etc. I also like to keep my sexuality and motherhood very sepetate. I want to be seen as me nothing else.

Yes I suppose it has.

As I say it's not how I'd choose to describe myself but if other people are happy to be described as such I don't have a problem with it.

I think of a milf as being static in age, lets say a woman who is 25-45 years old (but the actual age depends on who you ask!).

A cougar is a woman who is defined by the men she goes to hunt. A 30 year old woman can be a cougar if she goes after 20 year old men. But then again a 60 year old woman can could be a cougar if she went after 40 year old men. The orginal 30 year old woman could not be a cougar if she only goes after older men, for example.

So: Milfs are defined by age, Cougars defined by the age gap of who they hunt.
