Has anyone bottled a meet because neeves have gotten the better of them? Had two bottle it right ar last minute and had a few bottle when conversation got on to actual meets. Now i remember the nerves when i first entered the swinging world but for me that just added to the buzz. Whats your thoughts and experiences? Ideally like to hear from people who bottled it

I haven't had a meet yet, but I am nervous of the thought! I wouldn't bottle it though. I love the adrenaline

What if nerves got too much for you though and you paniced it would affect your performance

we like nerves and if we ever stopped getting those the first time we meet folks it would take some of the excitement away from it all

I don't get nerves meeting new people.

I've had meets bottle on me and I've had guys turn up nervous.

The nervous ones soon settle down as I only do a social first time with no pressure

I've experienced nerves, but never enough to not show up. All I can say is that someone should be fully aware that the fantasy of a meet is one thing. Flirting by messages, text, phone etc... those are all 'safe' ways of flirting. You're not actually face to face and you're relatively anonymous, so it's easier to be true to yourself.

That is the fantasy stage.

The reality stage is different. At that point you have to account for your previous actions and words in person. Anyone you meet who is worth their salt will a) allow you some leeway for nerves, and b) experience those nerves themselves and want the same leeway reciprocated.

Equally, anyone worth their salt should allow for the fact that nerves can overcome some people at the moment in time where fantasy potentially becomes reality. They are, to me, two utterly separate states of mind, no matter how connected they are in terms of desire.

People are always at differing stages of expressing their sexuality. It's best to, as it were, take the come with the go.

A decent person would accept that if it did happen. I've had it happen and then as they relax it all works out

Oh right! Got the wrong end of the stick there. I suppose they're just shy and they're just looking for the chase. I'm shy at first but i settle down fairly quickly

Does bottling it and timewasters come under the same umbrella?

If so, I've had plenty of them lately off here. Luckily this place isn't where I do the majority of my meeting so it doesn't bother me

I messaged a guy through a thread and he admitted he'd been too nervous to message me.

We met for a coffee and I initially thought he had a stutter. He was just really nervous. He soon relaxed.

We became friends and still are.

So don't let nerves stop you doing things, they can work out

I'd say so. If you can't meet, then don't say you can, I think

Personally i think people love the idea but the reality gets too much for them. Some just dont know where to draw the line

I haven't had a meet from here but I know I'd be nervous if I did. I wouldn't bottle it but I'd like to think the woman, or women if miracles exist, would be understanding and allow time for me to relax and get in the right frame of mind. To be honest I wouldn't agree to meet if I thought they were going to put pressure on me.

Ive nearly bottled it, in my case its alot on anxiety, lack of chances making it important and having someone mess me up in the past. Few cuddles and everything is ok/ alot better
