I have seen this on a few profiles under looking for am i reading it wrong could someone plz tell me wat it stands for or means .

It's where the internet magic coding thing doesn't always recognise the '&' symbol, which is called an ampersand. So it replaces it with the shortened term 'amp'.

It's @ the site software some times converts it to its actual name "amp" which is short for ampersand.
