Not all persons have transport of their own so arranging meets can be difficult. I had an idea that maybe part of fabswingers could be for those willing to make runs as drivers for other people. And advertise like they would for a meet what areas they are willing to travel to and throw from.

No way in the world would I allow a random man to pick me up, take me to a meet, and then take me home again.

I prefer to get myself there, and back, safely and to me that sounds like a nightmare waiting to happen.

It would be wide open to abuse, every creep in creation would want to do it, in return for sexual favours. It's a stupid idea. Just get a bus or a taxi like everyone else.

Some guys on here are not sexual predators and only want to assist others that a missing out on the fun and games. There could be drop off point near homes but not at the address to ensure that privacy is kept

So how does someone know that they're trustworthy? There is no way on this earth I'd let a total stranger on an adult site pick me up in a car that's not regulated.

The safety perspective

....with doing this "taxi" thing...even if it were run properly....the drivers CRB checked, proof of MOT, Insurance ect ect.....all are only as valid as the bit of paper produced.

CRBs valid for 12 months

MOT valid only on the day its done! But holds a 12 month grace period

Insurance....get it done, fuck it off the next day....still got the paper to wave at someone!

See the problems already?

Then it all costs money on the person doing it all.

Then there are other apsects....there are those who would take advantage of it. A woman or man going to a meet. Fuck it i want in or im gonna drive you to the middle of nowhere and bump you out, my car, my rules!

Then there are other aspect....your driving a wolan to a meet, car gets dinged....you have to go through insurance.

Now at this point your wife, girlfriend or whomever doesnt know your doing this or playing about and it then puts the passenger in a very bad spot. As they get the calls and aggro from the other half.

To many things to go wrong on so many aspects. Pass

I enjoyed visiting Mingles in Colchester whilst staying in the area recently. Could I have a lift one Saturday please. ( at your convenience) it's 420 mile round trip, but I will chip in a tenner for fuel . Much appreciated.

This would only work if you are CRB checked and also are licenced to carry passengers... correct insurance (In case of accidents) and are known by your passengers too.

Coincidentally I am all of the above, and have a 16 seat minibus too.

Both myself and partner have done what the Op suggested... in fact when i met him he was bringing new ladies every week to clubs... so it does work..

Guys I'm a genuine taxi driver and work close to leeds I have a taxi badge and a taxi plated car getting a taxi too and back from a venue especially in leeds can be very costly, I personally wouldn't do it for FRee I can fit 4 passengers in my car if everyone contributed to a cab journey Id be willing to work as a driver and it wouldn't work out to a lot

That might be the way we're going! Past Blubberhouses then along the River Washburn.

We're doing the Six Dales Trail - trouble is, there is only one bus a week for the return trip, and that even that stops in a couple of weeks
