I went to collect him in a taxi and the taxi driver saw him first and suggested I slide down in the seat and he would drive off

Yes I have two that stand out. One time I drove to Manchester was meeting this guy and he looked nothing like his pics and was 5'2 I wanted to cry. I stayed had 1 drink and made my exuses. He was very aggressive and I had to be very stern by telling him NO. X

That's why we pretty much only meet at clubs now unless very well verified. Even at clubs we always leave it as a 'we'll be there come and say hi' rather than 'we're going to meet you'. That way we if it's a nono we all have options...

never going to happen for me for one reason if I've agree to a social it means I wish to meet you in the flesh to see if the chemistry of our chats. can be added to and pushed to the point of wishing to play with you,

by meeting you in the flesh I'm still only exploring a possibility so how can I be disappointed,

everything I do chats flirting there all about exploring the possibility not about trying to make it happen.

I believe that by going about finding fun in this way there is no expectation and there for not pressure to make something happen nor is there any expectation of something happening .

because with this approach I had no expectation so therefore can never be disappoint by what someone looks like or by the fact they choose not to play with me .

disappointment is the bedfellow of expectation take expectation out of the equation and one will never be disappointed .

I done the whole getting to know someone first by chatting on the phone and lots of messages. Guy was absolutely fantastic with regards to his humour and his personality, I'd seen one face picture with sunglasses and a funny angle so couldn't really see him properly. Was so looking forward to meeting him, met him and it was like oh ffs, I didn't fancy him, I really wanted to but I didn't.

If I could put that dudes brain and personality in another guys body then that would be the perfect guy for me.

Totally get this, I met a bloke on the fishy place,his pics looked hot, face pics fine and when we met zilch chemistry. A proper lad, acted like he was 18, loud and bragging about women he had fucked, felt so embarrassed because he was so loud. I stayed for a half and made my excuses about feeling ill and left.

None of this had come.out in the weeks of chatting and messages, I think he was trying too hard

Nearest we've ever got to that was on a meet with a couple, as we got towards where they lived it was not a great area and got worse the closer we got, needless to say when we got to the address it was in a real sh*t hole of an area, we didn't feel comfortable at all, so we promptly turned the car around, messaged an excuse and got the hell out of dodge! I done the whole getting to know someone first by chatting on the phone and lots of messages. Guy was absolutely fantastic with regards to his humour and his personality, I'd seen one face picture with sunglasses and a funny angle so couldn't really see him properly. In all honesty we tell people we will say hi if we see them at a club , we don't promise anything . We had guys that we have said hi too , and explain to them we meant what we said , one guy then got the huff saying we promised we were going to have fun with him , I had to put him in his place along with the club owner . Apparently it wasn't his first visit but it was his last , luckily most of the guys at the club know the rules and stick to them

We've more been disappointed by either some people's attitude or the lack of connection with them in person.

I'm sure that people have been disappointed with us in person too. Well, we know they have.

It's one of those things and why socials or no pressure, see how it goes meets can be helpful.

Yeah I turned up knocked on the front door and the woman I was meeting answered it and to my surprise she looked completely different her pics on here were about 5 years old and she had more facial hair than me...I ran so fast I nearly bumped into the lamppost in the street!!!

We met a couple once and felt this haha, the lady was about 4 dress sizes bigger than in her pictures and he was....well...not so easy on the eye shall we say, the boss was up for it haha but I certainly wasn't!
