Couples/singles not looking for single guys but viewing their profiled

I wonder if anyone can explain why they do this, profiles obviously state no single guys but they look at you anyway. I'm flattered honestly but it's not as if my profile could be anything else it's a single mans profile.

I can go into a couples or single profile and only then discover they don't want to meet single guys or I'm out of the age range, that's something you only find once you've visited but in the listings I don't pop up as anything but male and a singles profile.

Not a moan or whinge just generally curious as to why if it's definitely not what your looking for you'd look?

Messages off single men tend to be crude. Most couples seek refinement. So blocking them means they get to make the first contact instead of getting a load of "im free now" or "wanna let your wife fuck me alone?' Messages

I get alot of this - and I used to ask occasionally.

Most of the responses were because they'd seen my verifications on other fems/couples profiles and we're just curious and wanted to see if they'd verified back.

I sometimes look at the guys who have verified people I'm interested in just to see what they're type is, despite not wanting to meet guys myself.

People are curious by nature....

Some don't want single men messaging them, as can be inundated with messages . They prefer to look for themselves and maybe just message the ones that interest them.

They could be doing their own searching, they may want to meet some single blokes but want to find them themselves.

Or they could be perving pics. XXX

Many have got fed up with the boring, pointless and crude messages that get sent*, so stop men from mailing them prefering to do the searching themselves.

Maybe that is what they have done, who knows.

I'm nosey, especially if they post on the forums or fab a pic etc.

We do meet singles but prefer to go searching ourselves.

I sometimes click on profiles from people on the forum to have a shufty without paying much attention to whether it said "couple" or "male" etc even though I'm not looking for males.

Still sometimes like a nosey to learn more about the poster.

We have filters to block single guys messaging us however we do sometimes look for single guys. We just prefer to look ourself rather than be bombarded with one line messages. Not that it's only single guys that send such pointless messages. Probably 75% of the initial messages we receive from all sexes only contain a few words

You Dont Need to Know, right now

When someone sets their filters to exclude single men from sending the first message, the site automatically adds the line "not looking for single guys" to their profile. It's not necessarily true that they're not looking for single guys - it could be that they ARE looking for single guys, but they want to initiate the contact. This means that they can avoid getting the 99% of messages which are dross.

We aren't into "meeting" single guys, but we are more than happy to play with them in clubs. We often look at a single guy's profile to see if they are in to the club scene to check to see who we might bump into.
